I was there Saturday. Lots of great cars there but there seemed to be a huge amount of Mustangs.

I really hope they due another run of the LRE trucks. I've been wanting to build one for awhile but I'm not paying the ridiculous prices people ask for them. I own a real 78 LRE that I'm restoring.

My wife drives a Jeep Wrangler through the week and a 2014 ZL1 Camaro on the weekend. I guess they are kinda girlie. To me a girlie car is a VW Beetle convertible or a Miata.

Combs raced the Lance Snacks Chevy at North Wilksboro in 1996. His only Truck race that year. Susan Combs was listed as his owner. The only year he raced Petty Enterprise trucks was in 95 when he qualified for 5 races. Of course the truck was #43 and was sponsored by Snapper Power Equipment for 4 races and by Comfrey Corner and the US Bobsled Team for 1 race.

The first round has been great so far. The Canucks are starting to worry me. The toughest series so far is Buffalo/Philly. The Habs and Bruins fighting for the non home ice advantage is weird. Nashville has been the biggest surprise for me.

Yep, 1991 was Rusty's first year driving full time for Penske. I was a huge Wallace fan. I'm working on building his 1990 #27 Miller Genuine Draft car.

Neil only raced that Mom and Pops car twice, once at Talledega where he ended up flipping it and once at the season ending Atlanta race where he raced it for 3 laps and then parked it due to engine (cough) problems. Dale was racing for the Championship and they intended to park it to help Earnhardt in the points.

I think 17000 is kind of a low number as well. I figure there are a lot of closet modellers out there. I'm just getting back into the hobby I enjoyed as a kid.
