    theres a few ways.but the easy is file the springs where the axel sets on the springs..

    also some boddy shops that mix there own paint sometimes will treat you good on base coat paints..for example i bought a quart of base flake for 25.00..

    also you can try gw trucks for a set of his hood hinges ..i used them and worked perfect..
