  1. Lacquer, excellent to brush on seem lines or imperfection. its thick, use it as a filler. If you need to use a primer use Mr. Surfacer 1200. Very strong on fumes, be careful!
  2. Try coast air brush. They carry lots of parts for almost every brand of airbrush.
  3. I have two Iwata neo. Good starter airbrushes. one has a .3 and the other a .5. I use this for small jobs mainly acrylic. I have several high end airbrushes too.
  4. The Iwata is a nice brush, but is a pain to clean. If a deep cleaning is needed the nozzle is very fragile as it screws on. easy to destroy if you over tighten it. Very pricey to replace!
  5. .50mm needle all the way, If you are very good with your airbrush a .40mm will also work.
  6. Great job! Welcome to the hobby.
  7. Mad skills. I enjoy watching your builds.

Great builds! I have a question, how did you attach the body to the bottom frame. I bought this kit. I did a test fit and could not get the frame to fall in place correctly. do I need to glue the front bomper and than snap it in place? Maybe this kit is bad!
  10. Looks great! Just bought this kit. What color is that under the car, is it a light gold color?

I've seen this model several times at the store, never enterested! I must have it now, on my way to the store. This build is impressive!

    68 Camaro.

My all time favorite car, great job!
  13. I’ve used this color a few times. Sorry to tell you but it will be best to strip the paint and start over. Try putting a base color close to the purple color you have, this will eliminate the white panel line you see. Spray two to three light coats, let the paint build up. With a bit of patience your paint work will be spectacular!

Excellent model! How did you get the back center wheel to sit deep in the back rim?
  15. I need a bit of help. I'm planning on buying this lathe. I have never used a lathe. I would like to make my own 1/24 scale wheels. Can anyone tell me which turning tools I should buy with this lathe. Center drills and cutting bits.
  16. This is one of my favorites cars. The prototypes wheels look great. I have a question for you, are u familiar with the sherline 4530 lathe if so. can you recommend the right size tools or parts that I will need to make my own wheel. I am planning on buying this lathe. thanks for any help in advanced!
  17. The answer is Plasti-Kote sandable primer, T235. But, first scribe all panel lines. Spray your project with two lite coats of primer. be careful as this primer can build quikly. After the primer is fully dry give it a lite sanding with 1000 grit sandper. It will be very smooth.
  18. I was able to get the interior tub done and a few other parts painted a few nights back.
