    Quick Fix

Thanks guys. Glad you both liked it.
  2. True to word George. If it works for you then keep at it. But I like to try new things if it would give me results, like fine spraying. It would be difficult as mentioned in the above post, to do these things with a can. BTW, I saw somewhere that certain companies were doing adjustable nozzles. So one could spray from fine to wide, depending on the hole on the nozzle. Any ideas? A great amount of responses to my thread guys. I do appreciate it.

    Quick Fix

I updated this dio sometime ago. i wanted the elongated shape as I wanted it to fit on a shelve. Nothing new but the shape and arrangement.
  4. Well for me that is a long time James.
  5. Wow!!! Outstanding responses guys. Read every reply and appreciate all replies. I guess i will be sticking to the cans but will test out an AB, a cheap version, as i know it cost. Thanks again for all responses. Definitely a thread that should be Pinned. Hint hint. ...hihi
  6. Love the feedbacks guys. Ok. What type of ab is needed? I keep hearing double action is the way to go. What is the difference?
  7. Great responses fellas. I guess i might as well stick the cans then.
  8. You hit the spot there Harry. But the fine control is the beauty of it all. I am moving to house this month but have not fully decided yet. The cost of one AB can get me many models.
  9. So true Harry. Good to know i am not alone. Two things prevented me from getting an airbrush. 1. Small space. 2. Hate the clean up after every color change. But i am sure the advantages out weighs the disadvanges...right?
  10. I have been using rattle cans since i started modeling way in 2002. Been using them ever since. Will eventually buy an airbrush, for better control, but wanted to know if there are others who still uses them?
  11. Thank you Charlie. Much appreciated.
  12. Nice to hear that Richard. Thanks. Greatly appreciated.
  13. Thanks a million Tom. The only thing i am unsure of, if the vegatation is a bit much. I mean libya cannot be completely desolated without any vegatation or am i wrong?
  14. Thank you Virgil. I do appreciate the candid comments.
  15. Another one bites the dust. Thanks for warm welcome.
  16. Thank you for that humble comment.
  17. I do think I ever did a proper introduction but it is never too late to make one. So here goes. My name is Charles King and live in Sweden. Started modelling back in 2002 doing modern military in 1/35. Mostly modern armor or post modern stuff. I love big vehicles and not much of a tank person. But I will do a tank as I have diorama that will need a tank to complete the scene. I just started 1/24 back in 2010.Born in 1969,I have been interested in modeling since I was 12; though there was other interest that took priority at the time. Not until recent,in 2002 that my interest was rekindled. While browsing the Internet, I came across a gallery of beautiful military models that completely saturated my taste buds for modeling once again. So the rest is history. I do not-so-seen models and those out of the ordinary. I do not like doing the same thing, so I tend to look for obscure inspirations to work from. This way, the model or dio becomes different. I try to follow my own way of doing things, also adding other experiences from other modelers, by adding my own mix.
  18. Thank you Terry.
