I have the Tamiya Panel Line Scriber, and it works good, but the issue is that widens the panel lines while making them deeper, so I bought this set, and while doesn't work as good as Tamiya's, is does not make them wider .

Correct, I spoke with Bob and that is what he told me as well, I had sort of feeling that is what they were. I do think the shade is tad dark, but I still love the color and happy with it.

All finished up minus the they are not really metal transfers markings for the hood/rear end, love this shade of blue, it is even better in person, the camera does not do it justice, its is gorgeous. I replaced the side/hood mesh decals over clear parts with just real meshing, since there are no markings, I did do the car with LHD( US Spec). Far as we all know, this will be my last completed model for the year that isnt already started( meaning, I have some other projects that I want to try and finish up) Enough of the words.

For me, yes, that is my end game, I want to see all the work ive put into each model pay off at the end, not that I dont enjoy the entire process, but for me, that is the point.

The brakes, finally got them done, mixed Tamiya Met Grey and Tamiya Flat black and air brushed them. Clear coated, time for polishing.

Overall, decent kit, outside of Meng combining different years into the kit, pretty straight forward build, everything minus of a couple things fit good. My only real complaint is that all the marker lights are molded to the body. Couple of fit issues I encountered, one was the getting the drive shaft to fit, I needed to trim it down, and the other issue is the the windshield piece does not fit, or seat properly , so that is causing the front doors not fit great and the roof to sit up in the front. I believe it is the interior piece causing that, as my test mock up for the body, there was no issues. The best way I can describe this kit is akin to building a semi truck kit. enough of the blah blah blah Starting with how it looks in stock form

Got the Olds kit for $10, sealed. The two BMW's and Alfa came from another club member, we did a trade, cash for the kits

Just a silly suggestion, but why not use oh I dont know, a matte white paint, Tamiya has Matte White in the can
