Thank you, I forgot to mention the carbon fiber hood, what you see is try number three, the second time was the charm, but I clear coated it, and the clear at the carbon decals, and it was on perfect, and try number three did not work very well.

Here is the body after being clear coated with Mr Hobby clear, the crazing is very minor and cant be seen unless look at in certain directions, not happy with my try at the panel lines And working on the interior, up next is getting the dash and seats in black, masking the dash is going to be very much a pain, the lines on the dash are very faint, so trying to figure out how I am going to get the masking tape to follow it, the seats need one more coat of green .

Nissan R35 GTR , black beauty Here is Aoshimas 2012 Nissan GTR R35 kit, I used Scale Finishes Nissan black obsidian paint, clear coated with Mr Hobby , but I had to wetsand and polish it out, but it left a lot of scratches in the paint, I used Meguiars scratch x, but it didn’t help, I also lost both front side indicator lense’s, I am going to get some epoxy I think and try and fill the spots for them

After 20 0r so years, I finally got all the Days Of Thunder cars built, I will break down each one and what I used #18 Hardeez, used Testors Orange? , and kit decals #46 City Chevy used MCW Neon green and yellow, and Winscals decals, kit decal numbers #46 SuperFlo , used Testors flouresent pink and PowerSlide decals #51 Exxon, used Krylon gloss black and PowerSlide decals #51 Mello Yellow, used Krylon gl black/Tamiya light green and PowerSlide decals

They are all done now

I have been trying to get a Revell 2010 Camaro finished for the last three months or so, had to replace once, stripped the paint once on the replacement body, and then just got it repainted, to have ruined the paint job again , so two cans of Tamiya paint, and one emplacement body and I am pretty much back to where I started from

I am going to stock up on Tamiya primer, I will have to look into finding Mr Surfacer primer as well

No worries here, I think the Fiat is a butt ugly car, but its still cute in its own way Got the body in color, I crazed the body a little bit, I have learned, that for whatever reason, or maybe its just me, that the Japanese plastic does not like Duplicolor primers. I also crazed the door panels as with the black I used, one day I will learn what manufacturers plastic can handle what paints lol

Wouldnt that also apply to passenger cars as well, and just not trucks?

Hmm, not sure how I feel about it, I think I am going to have to let the new design digest for a little bit, I will always like the style from the late 80's -90's Chevy trucks

Up next on the already full bench is Fujimi's Fiat 500 Abarth Esseesse kit, this kit, well the one of the Abarth kits has been on my want list for a while now, and I finally decided to buy one when I noticed that they were starting to become hard to find at a decent price. The goal for this one is another Grand Turismo 5 build, here is the kit box and what I am going for looks wise. Need to mention this , the only Fiat 500 in the game is the stock version, but I like the Abarth version better, and I am using the kit wheels vs. the ones in pic, I can changed the in game wheels to something a little closer to the kit wheels. I will be using Tamiya light green. Getting the body ready for paint

David, I used SEM paint 61113 chassis gray , its almost a dead on match for the shade NASCAR teams used I am almost done with this set, just have all minor stuff do on them,
