  1. The drop is just perfect, makes it look real good, what scale is this one?
  2. I dont either, I am sure something good will happen, heck almost every car manufacturer on the planet test cars at the ring, including US cars, so I cant see it going away
  3. From Topgear.com http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/nurburgring-applies-for-bankruptcy-2012-7-19 Sad day indeed
  4. I knew what you were asking, I was just being a smartarse, I am one in person, was just trying to have a little fun with you
  5. Agree with Terry, Irfanview is what I use, its very easy to use
  6. I forgot I threw the powder stuff away , but here are some interior pics First on is with the embossing powder (what you dont want) this is flocking
  7. I think out of all the cars I have owned, there is no kits of them, one kit does come close to one of the cars I owned, same car, different manufacture name
  8. Wow, it kind of works for the most part, looking forward to see how it looks after you get it all blended together
  9. Ok, just trying to help save you from wasting money like I see to keep doing with this stuff
  10. I am going to say real
  11. I will do side by side pic so you can see
  12. Flocking is fiber, embossing is like a powder, I bought some embossing powder and it does not look like carpet at all, get flocking
  13. Jim, I forgot all about that one, Sr. was one of Irvans biggest fans, and in some ways, he drove like Dale did. I had at one time, the #2 kroger pontiac Irvan drove, I need to do that again as well, I am going to see if I can track down both sets of decals. Edit, those decals are available , just found them
  14. I seem to do that all the time, I will say that, a lot of the times I am doing research on something I am working on, but then I get side tracked on here, or ebay, or who knows what
  15. Nice job
  16. If I would spend less time on the computer at night, I would get a lot more done
  17. I just starting using flocking maybe a year ago, and mainly use black, and never had a problem with black, but it seems like when I use other colors , the ones I get are always clumpy. I know using a strainer helps, but the last thing of flocking I got , there isnt anything other then clumps , so using a strainer may not work. I have already bought some more. Anything I can do?, any tips?
  18. This may seem like a dumb question, or something I just dont know, but why are there different number markings ?, meaning either in 5 increments, or 20 increments. Is it a region thing where the cars are from?
  19. The grill comes chrome plated, I think it will just look better, to me for some reason chrome does not look good. I have no idea why I keep doing black wheels, just like I dont know why I keep buying ferrari kits . The Jag is going to have chrome wheels, and if I ever get flocking that I can use, it will get done. I have now bought two different things of flocking, and both I can use. One is too dark, and the last one I got, its close enough in color, but its all clumpy
  20. I dont have a favorite anymore, I like Mark Martin now, but not a favorite. I started following the drivers that took over after him in the MB2 M&Ms ride. I know what you mean, I became friends with driver that was full time in the Truck series, and after he left NASCAR, I stopped following the truck series, and couldn't go to any race's for awhile after words, I mean, I had to buy my own tickets again , I will give a hint who the driver is, he owns or runs Dillon motorspeedway in S.C. I did build the hauler when I was a kid, but have not thought about it, tell now, thanks for the idea , I have not seen it at the local swap meets, but I see it ebay all the time. Mike, I wonder that too, even after his wreck, he could still win , so I am going to guess that if not for the accident, I could see him winning a championship. But as much as I was a fan of his, I am glad he retired when he did, and push it, he left driving with respect.
  21. Night time, late night is the only time I really have time to get any work done, even then thats not always the case, just depends on how well the baby is sleeping.
  22. Little bit more done on the 599 Engine is on the chassis I should of did the exhaust in a different color Here is the grill, I need to repaint it and here it is on all fours
  23. I see that now, I have both of those as well as the R35 on pre order , well , looks like I have more time to make sure I have the money for them now
