  1. That is beautiful, what paint did you use?
  2. You may have not been here very long, but you are making up for that with post counts
  3. What is he going to charge?, how long has he been casting?, can we see a pic of the longbed he is making?
  4. I know I will get at-least one, but I have no use for the plow, after all , I live in the desert lol
  5. Very nice, I like it
  6. Now that the Audi and Ecto 1 are done, time to work some more on the Etype, I started getting the interior painted, I am going with a tan color, need to get away from the black I always seem to do. I need to get some tan flocking now.
  7. Thanks guys
  8. Thanks guys, I forgot to thank two people who helped me out with this one, Danno and Raoul, Raoul had the 59 caddy kit that I used the wheels from, and Danno who played the middle man in getting the kit to me. So now I need to start work on Ecto 1A now
  9. Thanks, yea I think it looks a lot better with darker wheels.
  10. Here is AMT's recent release of Ecto 1A, I did this one as Ecto 1, a good part of the roof rack was scratch built, the roof rack ladder was scratch built as well, I used the wheels and tires from Monograms 59 caddy kit. I know the rear bumper is not correct for this, I will get the change one day soon. I did not have good luck with tinting the widows, the passenger side turned out ok for the most, masking it was pain.
  11. Here is Revells Audi R8 Spyder kit, did this OOB/box stock, I used Model Masters AMC silver metallic, clear coated with Testors one coat wet look
  12. The Audi R8 is done, posted in under glass, here is a sneak peak
  13. Thats not a bad price really for that
  14. Its one of those things that I dont think about, I just dont
  15. True, but not everyone uses the view new content , I dont, I just never think about it.
  16. I really think that P/U's should be allowed in the under glass section, just makes sense to me, but what do I know
  17. We are just talking about finished builds in here?, are does this include talking pics of WIP's as well. I have been trying lately to use plain back drops for my finished builds, and sometimes WIP's. I dont really care where the model is photographed, as long as the model is in focus in the pic. Yes it is nice to have a clean, clutter free back drop, looking at photos of models in the same ole boring white back drop does get boring, its nice to see people show off the builds in a variety or photo settings. Like they say, variety is the spice of life For my self, I keep meaning to pick up some poster broad or the like, but always forget when out shopping. And to the people that are taking offense to this, there really is no need to get all upset over it, this is just a thread suggesting it, thats all, nothing more, nothing less.
  18. Thanks mate, it was a move, it sucked, I think trying to get everything unpacked, and settled is going to be harder then the move, still not done yet. I am still trying to get all the model stuff unpacked, and still have to find a place to set up the ole paint box I am going to try a different color for the wheels, my first plan was black wheels, so may go back to that.
  19. I like it, I dont like nova's period, but yours look cool, I like the color combo
  20. You have some good points, I have been thinking about doing the 68 shelby and either the 2007 shelby, or the 500 KR shelby
  21. Looking good Steve, I am trying to decide on what I want do next for this CBP, cant decide on a newer or older Shelby Mustang , hmmm
  22. Very nice, I really like the colors on it, well done, so are cars allowed not to have side view mirrors down under
  23. I bought and paid for a few models, just waiting for them to get here.
