Bradley, thank you for your input, thats why I am asking you guys what you think, I was thinking that myself that the green I got is just a little to light. I am open to peoples thoughts an opinions, as long as they are put in a nice way . I will see if I can a darker shade of green this weekend, I have a long list paints I need to get . I tested it on a spare body and it came out darker on the spare

I am always ready to build something, I will get paint on the bullitt this weekend, but I am kinda of thinking doing a lip spoiler on the front, but not sure if I want to keep a OOB, or not Edit- just in case you guys were wondering what tires I am have on the bullitt( I know you guys are not), those are the tires from Revells custom silverado

Steve, looking good my friend, I just threw the hood back in the purple bath and it should be ready to reapaint, oh by now , I am going to try and get it painted this weekend, but not sure, its going to be a busy weekend, shopping , getting the tree, I need to get the lights up on the house. thats the shade i am getting when sprayed over black, what ya think guys? close enough?

I have been using bleach now to strip off chrome, it seems to be working better and faster then the purple stuff, it could also be that I need to change it out and the weather as got colder . But either way I am going to use bleach from now on I think for chrome

I am interested to see how its going to look, get some pics up when you get a chance. I got the black base coat back on the bullitt , then I dropped the hood on the ground while it was still kind of wet , oh well, I ran out of weather for today for any more painting .

On the 2010's, you almost have to remove the entire inner fender well to get it to sit lower. If you try to grind it down you will end up going thru.

I find a lot stuff on here by using google , and the funny thing is, and 99% of the time i am not trying to do a search for something on here. Thats how I found this place was by doing a image search on google for something model related .

Chuck/whale, thanks for the info on the priming for the bullitt's, I know what I did wrong, well two things, one not buying a dark enough green. My purple bath is working fast on the krylon , it should be ready to repaint tomorrow afternoon. I am not very good at making up storys, I think I passed my story telling class in collage with a C, dont remember the grade, I just know I passed it . I know for my 2010 GT500, I am thinking of going with side scoops, and window scoops( if I can find them), and maybe a different hood, not sure yet.

No the BMW is in the states , but there are so many none US car kits I want to build, I wont be running out of ideas anytime soon, I am also bidding on a RoG mercedes kit right now too.

did you use a black base coat on the hood?, it looks good, ahh it happens, I should of did a few light mist coats then sanded it smooth , and not sand the base coat , or maybe I should made the black base coat a little thicker . One day I might learn how to paint

Well I painted the bullitt, but it still came out really light then even the cap color, so I think I know what did wrong, I sanded the black base coat so it made it lighter. So I am going to strip it and start over . But the engine compartment on the interior piece is the right shade .

I should do a mach 1 , so im not left out
