The first model I built by myself was this issue of the Lindberg 1932 Ford pickup. It was molded in yellow with no chrome parts. I glued it together with no paint. I believe it was a birthday present, circa 1979. I will say it had cool box art, though I doubt I appreciated it then ! There are a few bits and pieces from it still in my parts boxes.

Great day 2 build! Love the wheels and stance! If I ever get around to building mine, it will be similar to this!

Wow! Fantastic work! There are a few on here that are at a level well above the rest of us. You sir, fall into that category!

Your model is so very cool! I wish I hadn't seen this because I wasn't going to buy the new Atlantis kit, but now I will have to! Will need to swap the Ford engine for a Hemi though......

Super nice work! Great color! I have never had this kit (aside from a beater parts car),but after seeing your build, I might track one down!

Kool! I never get tired of Tri-5 drag cars!

As far as the hood, perhaps you could cut the blister out, make it a little wider and raise it up?

This is my current grail. I have been looking for a nice unbuilt complete kit for a while, but they tend to be pretty pricey. I have a built up and most of the later reissues, but I want an unbuilt original. Eventually, one will come my way at a price I am willing to pay. My intention is to build it.

Super nice job! I bought this kit too, but have put it off because of all the mods to get it right, yours looks great!
