  1. For a few months I have been working on an Australian Mack Trident. I have used the generic chassis of the US Italeri trucks and added an axle to it. The tanks are modified from Revell. The engine should be the Mack E7 but I decided to use the motor if the donor kit instead. The cab is a Auslowe resin one. First some base white and then a yellow colour was added. The wheels are a different storie. I decided to rework the wheels I had developed for the 'Conforti' Mack and also developed tires for that. I had them 3d printed. A dry fit with the wheels on it and the chassis painted dark gray. And in some later stage again a dry fit with the cab on the chassis. I have deleted a frame for the rear fenders. Parts are CNC milled and then fixed together. The Mack is about 90% ready. Still some parts have to be placed and some weathering needs to be done. Final photo's will be placed in time. The truck is intended in front of my TRT widening trailer.
  2. I did read that and feel flattered ;-) Koos sent me a message about your build so I looked it up. A link to all the photo's I took of my build: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/our_own_models_and/dmtc-members/hessel/in-progress-models/mack-dm800-conforti/ Hessel
  3. That's looking alright Dennis. As you stated the frame was made to get the right height for the fifth wheel. I had it CNC milled on my stepcraft. The wheels were developed by me and are 3d printed which makes the weight much less. Looking forward to the result. by the way: Jerre Reeter did the decals I used.
  4. You could have them 3D printed.... I have developed some rims before and everything is possible. Hessel the Netherlands Europe
  5. I would love more info about the prototype Turbine truck that Ford once made. If I want to contact Ford about it where would I go since they retired building big rigs. Would love the idea of making a scale model of this one. I have seen some photos on Facebook but any drawing or something in that kind would be a great help.

  7. The kits was developed by Heinz Schwartz of the http://www.modelmakershop.com/modelmakershop/ with help from Guido Kehder. Guido is an excellent builder of all kinds of models. Visit his website if your interested. It's in German but on the left you will find models and models in progress. http://www.die-leitplanke.de Hessel
  8. Thanks anyway. I noticed the manufacturers do not supply info easy. I will never use info commercial. Also I will have to compromise in making the model to get it right. I hope someone else will lend a hand.... Hessel
  9. Thanks, this is our own site so I know these documents. Hessel
  10. Thanks for that. As you noticed I already have downloaded a lot of pics. Plans are to make one like the one in the last pic. Maybe a trailing like in the first. This depends on the info I can find. Hessel
  11. I have seen their websites. I'm looking for a single one. Three axle preferred. Cross gate are clamp is an issue that is no that important. We want to try and make a kit of it in scale 1:24/25. thanks, Hessel
  12. I have plans to develop a bottom dump trailer. But living in Europe I cannot measure one out to have it accurate. Is there anyone who can help me with this. On the website of Hayworth equipment (Acheson, Alberta, Canada) is a nice side drawing of Loadline cross gate trailer I think would be a nice trailer. I have contacted them but they said they did not have any other info. A front photo would help some but a drawing in that kind would really be welcome. Hope someone can help, thanks. 13. With DMTC we have done the same thing with the container chassis. It is still available as a CNC milled kit. http://dutchmodeltruck.com Hessel
  14. Jan Rosecky is a friend of DMTC. We meet the guys every year in Jabbeke at the modeling show there. They are honest and fair guys who do their business in a good way. Any problems will be solved. They are wonderful builders as well. No worries Hessel
  15. The steel Front axle is also available at the 'Modelmakersshop' from Heinz Schwartz in Austria. http://www.modelmakershop.com/modelmakershop/ Hessel
  16. My friend Kees Kamp is also working on a CBE. That one will be completely scratch and even better then the one in the photo.
  17. The show was as always very good. It was the 20th time it was organized and now for the third time in the new place. This means the shows grows bigger every year. The quality of the build also rises. Unfortunately no price for my Mack but that is not a shame. I like it very much and that is the most important. If we had a good sponsor we would join a show in California of course Hessel
  18. Last weekend we went to the 'On the Road' exhibition in Jabbeke, Belgium. The maiden show for the Mack All models were photographed as well. André de Vries and Kees Kamp did a nice job. Have a look: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/modelshows/jabbeke/jabbeke-2016/ Hessel
  19. This is the reissue of a really old kit. The fitting is pretty bad. The photo does not do right to the hood closing. In reality it's not that worse. In fact I only discovered it after I saw the photo. In the meantime the front decal are there as well. Hessel
  20. I'm not familiar with the Jabbeke history of a Jaguar. I would love to maken the Roger trailer that is behind it but unfortunately I do not have the right info about it. If someone has please let me know. I might be able to make a kit of it..... thanks, Hessel
  21. Last week I had a week holiday. This gave me time to get some things done. The Mack is now ready for 90%. Some decals need to be placed and some minor painting needs to be done. With pretty nice weather I took the opportunity to make some photo's. In two weeks it will be in Jabbeke. Hessel
  22. Then you just want to put some decal on it. Work continues..... Hessel
  23. I cut them with my CNC milling machine. This works pretty good I think.
  24. I have not been on this forum for some time but there has been some work done. The headache rack and toolbox are ready. Then I did some dry fitting and it turned out quite OK. Yesterday I received decals for this one from the US. They look very nice and will finish it of properly. I will try to finish in two weeks. The Mack will have it's premiere in Jabbeke, Belgium at the 'On the Road' exhibition. Thanks Hessel
  25. With some colors on parts and the subframe being placed things work out the right way. Still some yellow details have to be added. Hessel
