  1. Aww no orange, haha just kidding, that color rocks on this car and thought I'd never say it, but the vinyl top is gonna set it off.
  2. Cool, good luck and excited to see the look of all the body mods come together.
  3. Did you take any pics of the work on the wing?
  4. That would be cool, thanks.
  5. On a 65 chevelle with a little different roof treatment. I have a set of 23's from shucky on this board, they look too big on the front so I was thinking of seeing what the 19's on the front would look like. This is where I'm at so far with it. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88535&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  6. Sweet thank you, I was looking at a couple different pegasus wheel combos but they are about 7/8" and are too short, these wide d'z will work good. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
  7. This thing is so cool, very nice building so far. I love the wheel setup too. I was wondering if you could take a pic of the wheel and tire next to a ruler and post it? I'm looking to see the height of the pegasus 19's for a couple of builds I'd like to use a bigger wheel on. Keep it up man.
  8. Wow that 2016 looks pretty darn clean with the belt moldings and the molding rails gone from the side of the body, don't know about the 03-04 style front bumper treatment though. Cool pic though thanks for sharing. On another note, I had the body in tamiya white primer, shot down duplicolor Oxford white today, and a horrible reaction took place over most of the body and the hood. So in the purple pond it'll go. I'll most likely just go with the tamiya white primer again, then use tamiya standard white, it'll be close enough to oxford, then clear coated of course.
  9. Umm next to none haha. I had to grind the hood thin above the intake plenum. I should have modified the oil pan so the engine would sit lower, but oh well it works with the cowl hood.
  10. A little update on my mod motor lx, got the motor installed into the chassis with the headers on. Currently working on the radiator hose setup. I have the front suspension all painted, detailed and installed. Also have the rear end painted and assembled, stole the aftermarket diff cover from the drag racer kit, its just sitting in place now because I have to build the exhaust next. Also have the body ready for paint, all mold lines, imperfections smoothed out, in Tamiya white primer now waiting for a nice day to paint the Oxford white basecoat and possibly clear coat.
  11. Greg, I'm getting anxious haha I see the fox kits going out, was curious where my name is on you're list?
  12. Thanks for the interest man, I should get something done on this just for you haha, but I have no updates, still the same excuse as before, my 1:1 and ive worked on a couple 1/25 car projects I have, just not this one for some reason. I'll get back on it soon, again thanks for the interest.
  13. One suggestion, you needed to round off the edges of the front bumper where it wraps from the front around the side. Also taper the front edges of the bumper at an angle parallel with headlight buckets. It has kind of a snow plow look to it, other than that, nice sculpting all of the body kit.
  14. Good news greg, can't wait to get the kits.
  15. Oh so sweet, the baldwin motion super vega would be so cool. You could piece this together in the current aftermarket, but it would be from numerous caster's and would cost a small fortune.
  16. Any fox mustang stuff would be awesome, great idea for the 85 gt and notch. Not to start an argument, but these need to be done in 1/25 scale, the latest revell 90 mustang kit is WAY nicer and more realistic than the ol' 1/24 scale 93 cobra ever was, and would be a way nicer donor kit for the new 85 bodies. Also a 2003-04 mustang cobra coupe would be sweet. The master would be relatively easy to do, it could be a modified revell 99 cobra, also in 1/25 scale. Thanks in the future if any of these come to life.
  17. Nice work on the tailpipes, you nailed the lx look for sure, love the view from the side.
  18. The solder exhaust looks great, apparently doing tailpipes on a 1:25 scale fox is as hard as a 1:1. Years ago I had 3 or 4 muffler shops turn me down on them making tailpipes for my 1st car, 86 lx 5.0 notch, just from the mufflers back. Ended up just running turndowns cause I didn't know about the flowmaster mandrel bent tailpipes at the time. Keep it up though, nice work so far.
  19. Those borla mufflers come from the revell saleen speedster.
  20. It would be awesome to own some of tyrones artwork, but I seen the 1st bid on the gold camaro, and there was a lot of these $$$$ involved. Nice work man.
  21. All is looking good. Is that motor from the 2010 gt500? The 07 has different coil covers and I like the ones you have.
  22. Wanted a break from all the scratchbuilding for a bit, so I got my 90 lx back out and started some painting. I'm not going crazy on this one. Got the chassis painted in primer gray with the body color overspray treatment. Painted the rear inner fenders, gas tank, and installed the subframe connectors. Also have some random pieces painted, these are just some of the bigger ones that are ready for assembly. And have some paint on the motor, did the block, heads and trans in straight silver, dullcoated the trans, painted the valve covers, timing cover, and the upper intake plenum gloss black, also did the bolt head detail with silver paint on a toothpick. Also painted the engine bay with Duplicolor Ford Oxford white. This will be the color of the body just like the pic of the real car above.
  23. Turned out sweet! The color, the stance, the motor, all are just killer. Can't wait for the notch fox.
  24. Looks good man, would be such a fun car to drive.
