Nice finish on the paint for the 1st time with that airbrush setup, this thing looks so mean black, looks awesome with all the parts on it, I can't wait to see it done. -
Very nice work on the spoiler, you certainly made it look easy as pie.

Cannonball Run 2015 " The Sleeperball"
Devilsnake98 replied to wagonmaster's topic in Community Builds
Nah, you should be fine, just 'cause you have big or aftermarket wheels on a stock or weathered looking ride, doesn't mean you're ride is mean or should be looked out for, it just means you're priorities are all jacked up, and you don't care about performance as much as actual performance. -

Not that the old scoop was bad, but that is way better, looking so mean. When are you gonna start building the turbo system? I'm anxious to see haha -
What cars interest you in resin 1/25

Trust me, you're not the only one. A lot of us have pleaded for this for so long, and so little interest seems to be given back. -
55/57 Cameo build W.I.P.
Devilsnake98 replied to Revstew's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
This thing is so sweet. Nice work on all aspects of the build and the contrasting greens is perfect for this custom of a build. Have a question, where do you send you're parts to get chromed? Could you briefly explain the process? Thanks -
69 nova big tire car and turbo cobra mustang
Devilsnake98 replied to teamstorm02's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
A lot of people use .062" styrene rod for all the cage work, it equals out to about 1 3/4" in scale. Good mock up on both cars. By the way, that motor you have going into the nova is a FORD boss 429 pro stock engine, that should go in the stang with a big single turbo haha. Nice work though. -

That intake is looking good, you are going to make it efi right? Totally do the front spoiler, the stance on that red one in the pic is awesome. -
GRILL FOR '73 FORD PICK UP
Devilsnake98 replied to RAT-T's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I'm curious, how many pieces of foil did you use to cover the grille? I'm looking to use the same technique to chrome a resin grille. -
Baldwin-Motion style hood for Revell Nova?
Devilsnake98 replied to AK_Invader's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I was having issues with the vcg website myself the other day. I've bought from Manny a couple of times, the body parts, engines, suspension, and drive train parts are all really nice, I think I got my parts within 2-3 weeks after I placed my order. -
Baldwin-Motion style hood for Revell Nova?
Devilsnake98 replied to AK_Invader's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
http://vcgresin.atspace.com/main.html click on the hoods tab on the top right corner of the screen, scroll down the page to the 69 nova L88 hood, this is for the revell kit, the 72 nova hood listed is for the AMT kit. I think this is what youre looking for. they don't have a pic of it but that's the style hood youre asking about. VCG has good quality parts and I've bought from Manny a couple of times. If you really want a pic of the part, I'm sure you could email him and get a pic. -
X3!!! I would love to build my 1st car so much, an 86 lx 5.0 coupe. Also an aero fox era saleen "body kit" would be outstanding as well.. hint hint haha but an accurate 93 cobra would be killer too. Keep up the good work, the hatch area looks great already.

It is 1/25 scale, direct body replacement for the new revell 90 lx kit.
-
Oh my! So glad to see this under way Mike, can't wait to see it unfold in front of our eyes.

Very sweet and clean as usual. Keep up the good work, good to see you back on this. -
That's sweet! Nice stance on it. Do you have any chassis pics or pics without the body? Hey fred, I think it has plug wires, but they're layed out like a normal bbf, not the boss 429 like the valve covers that are on the engine.
