  1. Here is another body I sprayed with this clear
  2. Thanks guys. I have switched to Createx/Wicked paints lately and have been struggling with my clear coats. I've done two bodies with this stuff and have had excellent results both times.
  3. I sprayed the clear right out of the can.
  4. Hi folks, I'm not sure this warrants it's own thread, but I wanted to share with you all the best clear coat I have every personally used. I found it at Hobby Lobby near the Folk Art paint section. It is called Tree House Studio Clear Acrylic High Gloss Sealer. This stuff lays down like glass and drys very fast. I can't tell you how impressed I am with it. Here's a couple of pictures of it on a 32 Ford I am working on: The clear coat was sprayed over Createx Copper Pearl. This is how it came out of the can. No polishing. Just thought I would share.

    06 Camaro

    I like it.
  6. I love it. Super nice.
  7. Hey guys. Just a little ol' 1965 Mustang. Almost finished. I shaved the emblems because I'm not real proficient in detailing them yet. Also, the kit's decals were too old and yellowed to use. The wing window foil gave me fits. Any comments would be appreciated.
  8. That is really nice.
  9. Weekend dragster. Something you might see on a trailer on a weekend.
  10. I'm finally getting back into model building. This is the Hayden Proffitt kit. It is going to be my version of a '62 Bel Air drag car. I had started this car sometime back and got side tracked by other things. I think I quit on it because the paint turned out horrible. First thing I had to do was to start the body work. I found another hood off another '62 Bel Air project. I almost went with this hood just for the heck of it. But, in the end, I decided to go with a matching colored hood. And here we are today. I have the car painted and ready to foil. I have started on the motor. Just got the plug wires ran. This is a lot of fun. Any comments are appreciated.
  11. That's nice!
  12. Thanks everybody.
  13. Hello. After a 10 year (or more) hiatus, I have finally completed a build. Here is the Fiat from the Double Dragster kit. I'm calling it done although I will add some decals when I find some that I like. I'm also looking for something to complete the hub on the front wheels.
