    I have been able to get a little more done to the Cameo. I made a bed cover out of an old CD jewel case. I have found that the kit chrome is in pretty bad shape. I think I will strip it and shoot Alclad.

    Thanks. I have found that the Createx and Wicked pearl and metallic colors do very well when sprayed over a silver basecoat. I haven't had much luck with them when sprayed over a regular grey or red primer.

    Thank you. The color is actually more "purple" in real life. Kind of looks blue in the pictures.

    I got started on another build over the weekend. Holy flash and body warp, Batman. This is from the AMT Hot Rods three model kit. The back of the body is warped pretty bad, but straightens up alright when mounted to the fenders. I don't know what I'm going to put under the hood yet. Paint is Createx with Rustoleum Crystal Clear clearcoat. Pegasus wheels.
