    AMT 37 Chevy

I haven't found the right taillights yet. I've got my eyes out for them though. Thanks for the kind words.

    AMT 37 Chevy

This one fought me until the end. I still loved every minute. It's good to be back at the bench. Createx Pearl Green over white with Rustoleum Clear. The wheels were shot with Alclad. The motor is the 421 Pontiac from the Revell Parts Pack. Parts box air cleaner. Thanks for giving her a look.
  3. Thanks for the comments. Disaster struck yesterday. When I first started the model, there was a terrible sprue scar on the center-line of the hood. I ended up sanding it down and gluing the two halves together and filling. I was painting the underside of the hood when my glue job broke. The model came with an extra one piece hood molded in clear. I got it painted up this morning. I think it will do the job. I think I am going to use the Pontiac 421 engine out of the Revell Parts Pack.
  4. Me too! I should have said that I was working on it during breaks and lunch. Here's a mock-up of what I'm going for.
  5. Thanks guys.
  6. This is my first WIP post in quite some time. My version of the AMT 37 Chevy Coupe. I brought the body to work with me this morning to lay down the BMF. I really wish the lighting in my office showed the paint better. The paint is Createx Pearl Green with Rustoleum Clear Gloss Top Coat. I filled in the back and decided to go bumperless. I think I'll french in some tail lights. I lowered the suspension and am going to go with whitewalls and chrome steelies. Not sure on the motor yet. I might pull something out of a late model Vette. Thanks for taking a look

  13. It's getting closer to completion. I shoehorned the motor from the 2006 Camaro Concept into the engine bay.
