  1. That is nice!
  2. That's what the kit called for. It's growing on me.
  3. Sweet!
  4. I didn't mean to discourage anybody about the kit. It just doesn't have much detail. Especially on the chassis. The bottom of the cab is open where you can see the bottom of the seat. I really didn't want to use the stacks, but I didn't want to spend the time to fill the hole that was molded in for the stacks in the running board. The "tires" included with the kit are made of styrene. I would build the kit again (I have the Lindberg '34 Roadster Pickup kit too). It makes a nice shelf model.
  5. That is so cool. Really nice job.
  6. First completion is a Revell '32 Ford Street Rod. I really liked this kit. The color is Createx Copper Pearl. The radiator cap was swallowed by the carpet monster. My second completion was the Lindberg '32 Ford Street Pickup. This was probably one of the worst kits I have ever attempted to build. The platting on the chrome was horrible. I stripped everything and shot it with Alclad. The paint color is Createx Mango Pearl. I didn't even bother wiring the motor. This is a out of the box build other than the Pegasus wheels.
  7. Thank you. I sure like the nozzle better on the Tree House Studios can. Does Krylon make a "high gloss" Crystal Clear?
  8. I decided to go with black. Thanks for letting me play along.
  9. Here's another model sprayed with the combo of Createx and Tree House Clear
  10. I'm certainly not trying to undermine what Joe said regarding the two being the same product. I just haven't had as much success with the Kylon brand. I'm assuming they are the same "clear", but Tree House just uses a different nozzle and perhaps propellant because the two cans spray completely different. Let us know if you experience that same results that I do.
  11. I just sprayed the Tree House clear and Krylon Crystal clear side by side. They both spray different and smell different. Do they perhaps use different propellant? Is that a silly question?
  12. Very cool.
  13. Looks nice.
  14. That's a very interesting idea.
  15. Also, I appreciate the honesty.
  16. How do you think black wheels would look?
  17. I like it. Good job.
  18. I love it.
  19. This one is almost finished. I wish I would have finished the bed out with more detail. I'm thinking about building a bed cover for it. The color is a mix of Createx Pearl Blue with a little white added.
  20. I'm not sold on the wheels either. I was wanting to do this rig with red wheels when I started. They might go in the purple pond before it's all said and done.
  21. Here's my little 32 Ford project. I love this kit. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this one. The color is Copper Pearl from Createx. Thanks for looking!
