Oh I really like this one!

Wanted some rust on the body but I think I got carried away... Almost done. Need some bumpers and then off to some day shots. Too much rust?

As I was looking for a donor for the chopped resin piece I got this week. I found this built up Chevy pickup I wanted to rebuild. It was originally red. This was the original plan. So I started working... Added some balsa wood to the bed. I did some sanding after the flat black. I had a similar idea as I had with the 50 Merc from not too long ago. You can see the original color. Added a frame and rails to the now dirty bed.

So....when I cleared this guy the first time last year I had the hood and trunk attached....D'OH! Of course when I went to open them I forgot to use the blade to cut the seal. Didn't even want to strip it so I waited for. New body to come through the collections I get and low and behold....here is the newly painted body. The tires have been attached to the chassis already. Doesn't sit as low as I wanted it to, but when I finish detailing i, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Working on this one for almost a year now. Some interior shots The engine Can't forget the keys... I'm happy with the way it's coming along.

Just finished this one this morning. Couldnt decide on a color so sprayed flat black on it and sanded it smooth. One of my favorites.

I had been away for a bit but got back to finishing up a few I had started last year. Here is this one.

Not too happy with the paint job but I think finished with the decals and chrome it looks good. I can see this cruising on base.

Thanks for your compliments and good eye! They are! It was a 5 pulley set but used only what I needed for this kit.

Here's an update on the Merc. I foiled it up and one last coat of clear after the pic
