  1. Thanks Chuck, Oscar and Lee. Appreciate it.
  2. Whoa! Great to get some feedback. Somewhat of a boring kit but true what David says, paint and wheels can change it a lot.
  3. This one is all set. A nice little kit just to get something on and off the bench.
  4. Would love to see that project, Daniel. Thanks Carl. This is one all done over in the Under Glass section.
  5. Thanks guys. JB - that's actually Spangled Blue rattle can. One coat lacquers.
  6. This looks great Alan. Great to see some finished resin builds. Which specific decals did you use from Vinyl Nation? Those white walls looks perfect!
  7. It's on all fours. Need to finish up with the trim and the detailing.
  8. Here's one I just finished for October's MOTM Tuner category over at JCs. Comments encouraged. Thanks.
  9. This looks great. Where can I find those skulls and the magic powder?
  10. Rust does suck. Good thing this ones just plastic....or is it that bad that even this will rust on me? Lol Thanks Carl. Should be getting back to this one soon.
  11. Oh wow. Didn't expect this many responses at all. Will go back and get rid of the prop rod if and use some hood hinges. Will also take care of the black behind the radiator. Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. Carl, for under the hood, I have a roll of mirror-like poster board I got from autozone that I used there and for the console. Easy to cut with scissors. Just cut to size and Presto!
  12. Here is this one all done for a contest at Jerrys Cherrys. http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k612/iceman-555/model%20cars/1966%20Nova%20-%20eBay/DSC_0891.jpg http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k612/iceman-555/model%20cars/1966%20Nova%20-%20eBay/DSC_0889.jpg
  13. Thanks Jim. This ones all done. Check it out in the Under Glass section. Thanks for following.
  14. No problem. Man it's good to spend some time back on the bench. I feel like I had worked and worked on this one and just wasn't getting close to done. A little different feeling today even though I only worked on it for about an hour. Didn't take pics of all the updates but the dual exhaust is on, the headers, positive battery cable, starter and rear wheels are on. I really like the way the engine turned out on this one.
  15. Thanks Bob. I'm using Spaz Stix spray can set.
  16. Thanks Jeremy. Should be able to finish by the end of the month.
  17. Thanks Jonathan and Carl. Here's a little more wiring in the engine bay. Also worked on the steering wheel and column.
  18. I agree, man. It looks clean though. Mine is sitting in flat tan right now waiting for some inspiration. This just might be it. Did you foil the side trim as well or is it painted?
  19. That is pretty nice. Is that tape under the hood?
  20. This looks great. Any engine shots, Steve?
  21. I'm going to follow along, Steve. I have mine up for sale in my eBay store but have been having second thoughts about it. This may be enough for me to bring it back to the bench. Can't wait to see. Ore. Off to look for that 59.
  22. Thanks Daniel n Carl. Worked on this one a little bit more. The engine is set. Took the chrome fan from the 67 Chevelle kit and cut it to size to make it fit. Added the rest of the home-chromed parts on the underside. Engine needs headers then I'll add the rest of the exhaust pieces. I forgot to chrome the headers so I started the process today. A few more parts needed and this engine bay will be done. Here's where I left it for tonight.
  23. This one had been build orange when it first came out. I felt the body needed a make-over. I had recently read about the fitting issues and was wondering if the one I had was the exception. I had no issues while building it or test fitting it. Once I went to final assembly, it gave me a bit of a struggle. It didn't come out too bad.
  24. Looks better and better every time I see it Dale. Great job.
  25. Ok. I know it's only a Studebaker but let me apologize in advance to all the stock guys. I modified the chassis to lower it. Here's a mock up of where it will sit.
