    Hi Nick, i am in, think about a Mustang, Charger or something classic...just must take a look in my stash. One thing, i did not understood: is new drivetrain allowed, only car must be younger than 1979?

    I agree *lol* @Bill: the kit is correct for the European market. Trust me Sure, if you want to build an US-Beetle from this year, you have to change the "mistakes" to your US-Specification. Rob, if you need one, let me know. PM me.

    This is the original Boxart from the kit: it is a pure european Beetle, 1968 called 1200A or Standard . New tooled kit from Revell of Germany. The box "California Wheels" is unfortunate, not the piece of cake. "European Line" would hit it.

    Outstanding car. You did a good job on it. A lot of BMF-work...amazing. Only the colors are not my taste.
