  1. Thanks guys, I did get a bit done this weekend but I really dont want to go any further until I get my wired distributor in the mail. After that is done, then I can get a few more things put on the engine, and plumb/wire the engine and such. Its really a fun project!
  2. LDO I am interested if you can come up with the parts!!! Thanks man!
  3. No i"m not worried about the correct engine. I just want to know if anyone has done the curbside to non-curbside with this kit? I wanted to put an LS engine in it. Lol
  4. Thanks. I wont be buffing it or putting on clear coat because it has a very low-quality paint job from the previous owner and it's about on par with how it came out of the Tamiya can.
  5. Thanks everyone! I did a few things to the engine tonight but I dont know where I put all of my tiny drill bits (need to drill out the distributor) and I broke off the front suspension on the chassis so that's glued and in the dehydrator for now, so I'm going to have to postpone any more work until I can run to Hobbytown and get more drill bits.
  6. I got the AMT Ghostbusters ECTO-1A for Christmas and I was a bit disappointed that the kit was a curbside. Has anyone cut the hood open and put an engine in these kits? If so, I'd love to see how you achieved this. I know Revell-Monogram has a few 1/25 '59 Eldorado kits...wonder if you could kit bash these two to achieve it?
  7. Alrighty, after a long break from modeling I have gotten back in the swing of things. Here are my most recent updates. I actually did quite a bit of work to it last Sunday and plan to finish it within the next few weeks if possible.
  8. Thanks Casey! Its been awhile since I've been on here looking around. Have you put out any new products?
  9. Hello all, I had to take a little break from a lot of stuff last year. I had the busiest year I've ever had, and unfortunately very little of it had anything to do with building models. I actually sold most of my lot and a bunch of them went to James Watkins (iheartkits). But I'm back and since its winter and cold in Minnesota, I recently picked a model back up and got a good chunk of it done. I will be adding to my old thread of building a replica of my 1:1 Dodge D100. Its good to be back!
  10. Looks good! I got my nitrous tanks in the mail finally, so now I can start on my Nissan Skyline R34 "2F2F prelude" build. Might start it this weekend!
  11. Either way, when I do get the kit, it will NOT be getting the 426 Hemi in the engine bay. I'd rather have a 440, 383 or even a new 5.7/6.1 Hemi in mine.
  12. Another option for a smallblock Mopar would be the 360 out of the Lil Red Express...not sure how much of an improvement (if any) it would be over the 340 from the Duster, but might be worth a shot. Also, the thing about the 340 "Six Pack" from the Duster is that the air cleaner is very small in scale compared to what it should be. Still though...it may be too small for the 'Cuda, but its a very detailed engine that looks great when built!
  13. I just got my order from Modelhaus a few days ago and thought I'd share my initial thoughts on what I received. First of all, I ordered the complete '72-80 6' short box conversion kit, which includes the box, tailgate, chrome taillight housings and red taillight lenses. Everything is crisp in detail and the body lines line up perfectly to the LRE's body. I will, however, shave the raised mouldings off of it, along with the raised lettering. I have never worked with resin before so I will have to read up on how to clean, glue and paint it properly. I guess that is my review. I am very pleased with the mold-quality of the parts...they look fantastic and definitely worth the money!
  14. Me too...none of the stores in Duluth have the kit. Might have to go to one of the LHS and order one.
  15. What movie had a '67 Camaro in it?
  16. This kit will decimate all, after you put about $100 or more and if we have to, overnight parts from Japan!
  17. I need to get 2 sets of Detail Master nitrous bottles for the 3 bottles in the passenger seat area in the 2F2F "prelude" Skyline...then I will start my build. I like to have all my parts when I start a build.
  18. I dunno, but I might wait a little while before picking one of these up just because of the chroming and decal problems they're having...
  19. Im lost...I assumed you were asking which Challenger (orange '70 in 2F2F or the black SRT at the end of Fast5/beginning of Fast6), but you must have been asking about Dom's Charger.
  20. Put me down for the 2F2F's R34 Skyline...the version before Brian added the blue graphics and the rear wing as seen in the "2F2F prelude". Thank you!
  21. My guess is the Hemi orange '70 from 2F2F. The other Challenger from 5-6 was black.
  22. Bandit1, the Ferrari from 2F2F you are thinking of is the 360 Modena.
