Now my Gumball Rambler is finished. Engine is mopar 440 with tf 727 automatic transmission. Wheels are casted by Mark Piironen and they fit to this one pretty well. It had few problems in final assembly but result is good to me and it was fun build. Thank's for looking and comments are very welcome.

That looks very nice! Color combo is very good and engine looks also nice. Great Job! In this weekend i get my Moebius Chrysler and I can't wait to see how good model kit that is. -
Thank's Felix! Stance could be lower but I came to the conclusion that the world have already so many low Shelbys that one not so low could be something different.

Now it's finished. It was my first new era muscle car and i think that it not be the last. It was fun built and i enjoyed to built this Shelby. I am very happy about the result and i think that it is the one of the most succesful models what im done. Here's WIP topic http://www.modelcars...showtopic=55724 Couple pics of finished Shelby. Thank's for looking and comments are very welcome.

Thank's Ira! Shelby is finished now and big thanks for everyone to following and put comments to this project. This was very fun built and it came out one of the best models what i've ever done. It was kind of variation to build this new era muscle car after those many older muscle cars. Finished pics will be posted soon.

Thanks guys! Now windows are glued to body and body is glued to chassis. Front bumper is also glued to body. Next I will put those Shelby stripes to body and then start put last details and parts to body.
-
That looks very nice! I like color and all of those engine details. Nice job!
-
Thanks Greg! Now the interior is finished and next i had to paint some details to the body and maybe tomorrow i can start final assembly.
-
Thanks fellas for those kind words! John: Thank's! The silver paint what i used is from spray can and the manufacturer is called Motox. Paint is originally intended to rims but it works very well in model kits also.

Okay, I got this Chevy for my friend and it paid nothing. It miss some parts like windows, some chassis parts etc. but the most important parts came with it. Body was very badly damaged but when i glued the front clip on its place and a-pilar it started to looks like car. After those operations i heated that dent back side of that body and the dent straightened almost by it self. Only thing what get some damage heating during was that same a-pilar wich i glued on its place earlier. Now it got lot of bondo on it and maybe yesterday i can start sanding. When it's finished i hope that it will some kind of lowered street machine with flip nose and big block Chevy engine under it. Starting point looked like this... ...and this is how it looks now. And some pics after that i put some bondo on it.
-
Thanks Niko! Yes it has three rounds of clearcoat on it. Now the chassis is finished, interior flocked and engine is in place. Stance could be much lower but i think that i can live with it.
-
My friend (whom I bought this) wondered the same thing. He don't have any idea how that dent had become. Only thing i know of that dent is that it needs some lighter and lots of bondo.
