  13. Thanks guys! Here pics of the engine and turbosystem. Not much to tell because it's very badly in progress. And small mock up with turbo and intake manifold. It's will be very tight in the engine room because i must get intercooler, radiator and those pipes to intercooler etc. on their places. Also found somekind of wheels to it. Those are too deep but maybe i found something same lookin in my partsbox.
  14. Well back in to the business with this one. Almost two months ago i got chassis, front and rear seats from Airtrax to this project. Also bought few weeks ago header with turbo and airfilter and intercooler. And what come with chassis, well Amt ZR1 Corvette will give some parts for it. Front suspension fits almost perfectly but rear suspension and rear end of chassis needs some modifications. And i got also one big problem. Body is too narrow so tires can't be very wide. But here some pics how this one looks now. Turbo parts Chassis and seats Front suspension Engine is also painted and I try to take some pics of it tomorrow with turbo system etc.
  15. This looks very good! I think that engine is same 426 Wedge what come with AMT '49 Mercury so it's not small block. But overall this is very interesting project and I will follow this project for sure.
  16. This looks very nice! Paintjob and details looks great! Nice Job!

  19. My latest project. I bought this AMT Chevy Impala Convertible from local model car show last weekend. Previous owner was started to some custom modifications like windshield frame was chopped and few emblems were removed. Chassis is lowered by previous owner and it's as low as it could be. Engine came with the model and its small block Chevy with TH350 transmission. I will put my skills to the test with this project so i will detailed it as good as i can. Here's few pics how it look like now. Yep, It's very low but nothing scratch to ground and that is very good thing. It's so low that exhaust pipes will be somekind of problem in future. Previous owner was sanded chromes of bumpers so they will be in body color. And the engine. It's almost finished. Need to put starter motor, air cleaner, some hoses, transmission oil fill tube and kickdown wire and then it's mostly finished. Comments and color ideas are welcome because i dont have any idea of body color.
