  1. Ryan, Jeff's Mustang's measurements were taken FROM AN ACTUAL 67 MUSTANG! We talked about this at length one time, an if they DON'T look right well them there's something WRONG with the one YOU'RE looking at. Simple as that. His dimensions are SPOT ON.
  2. BUMMMMMEEERRRR!!! Like Mark says, SORRY to hear ALL your hard work was for nuthin!! Family CAN be a real bich, can't they??? Hope you din't get too crazy on the lil nephew. When MY goofy lil nephews messed up MY models, I'd just make my Big Brudder replace them. Now they're 45 42 40, an 38 and they STILL remember Uncle Georgie gettin nuts!!!! ( I got a few more, but after THESE nuts, I put a LOCK on my room!!!)
  3. I have Jeff's 71 Mustang coupe, his 72 Torino Wagon, His 67 Comet 202 coupe, and I've SEEN that Mustang. I WOULDN'T hesitate to get it, cas ALL his stuff is TOP NOTCH!!! As the man says"Order with Confidence"!!!! You WON'T be sorry!!!
  4. Mike-O, does THIS make you a potty mouth??? That's ok, caz I'll STILL play wiff ya!!! She came out nice!!!
  5. Len, I'd go with one of the Ford Loiusville Truck chassis too. Or you could scratchbuild one from Evergreen. But I THINK it might just be easier to go with one of the Ford chassis in the long run. Nice lookin body, never seen that particular one, where'd you get it?
  6. THANKS Jim, I'll take care of that RIGHT NOW!!!!
  7. Pete, I saw this car run on the streets back in the day!! It was actually a Chrysler R&D car for the hemi street racers!! I've seen it at MANY street meets too, and it still is awsome to see it light up the tires at a WHIM!!! It ran FOUR hemi mufflers and was STILL loud! GREAT build on a GREAT historical Street Machine!!!
  8. The goose neck lights are ok, but I find it rather cumbersom. I think the optivisors are the best way ta go. They're smaller and fit on your head,so you can see thru them like glasses. Oh, and again, DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE to attach PE parts!!!
  9. Oh YEAH, Homie, Now THIS is REAL raceing! None of that SILLY goin around in circles trash! THESE guys can do it RIGHT!!!
  10. LoLo, wat scale is that bad boy? REALLY nice paint job Bro!!!
  11. Nick, I got it on RIGHT NOW as I'm typeing this!!! GREAT backround sounds!!!
  12. Another GREAT meeting Pat! AND with the Charity auction, we managed to get 452 dollars, half of which we decided to give to Bud's wife,Ginger, to help her out. Bud was a Brother, and I DO miss him!!! Can't wait for NEXT months meeting!!!
  13. Hi Chris, an WELCOME!!! It's nice to see a family here, we gotta few dad/son teams! Just remember,"The family that MODELS together hasta swap parts"!!! Actually that's "stays together" I jus made that last part up, caz it usually ends up bein TRUE!!! Welcome !
  14. The most un authentic thing is the engine. It NEVER said ANYWHERE on the car OR the movie that it was running a 6-pak motor. The Police dispatcher said he thought it MIGHT be supercharged, but it's never stated in the movie EXACTLY what motor is in the car. If you notice in the moving scenes, where Kawalski is just drivein the piss outta it, the full on screen shot of him leanin on the door, with the wind blowin his hair, the hood VERY CLEARLY states 440 MAGNUM on it. NO 440 six pack emblems EVER showed on screen. I remember when those cars came out, and even THEN, if there was a six pak under the hood, It STATED that fact!!! The Vanishing Point Challenger is an Icon of movie history, just like Bullits Mustang an the Bad guys 68 Charger! Can't Forget "Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry's "Charger either!! Or American Graffitties 55 Chevy,32 Ford,or 58 Chevy. I always am amussed when folks make the mistake of putting what THEY WANT on a movie car, instead of staying factually/historically correct. But your Chally is comin out REAL nice "L" Regardless of what motor it's runnin!!! Good job!
  15. Yeah, after I thought about it I figgered it was. To sloppily redone for a REAL car. At least I would not have been satisfied with THAT resto job. Good work Kahuna! Keep them bad boys on they toes!!!
  16. Mike-O, BE GENTLE!!! If you wake him TOO QUICKLY he MIGHT throw the alarm clark at you!!! just whisper in his ear...... WAKE UP HARRYYYY!!!!!!! Then duck down at the side of the bed, that way when he swings ,it'll be OVER yer head an he'll miss ya!!! That's how I usedta wake up my Big Brudder Art! Worked EVERY time!!! But YES your right, It IS time for our RoM reveal, so Harry, Get to it, Caz WE KNOW you can DO IT!!!! Wat it gom bees lak Harry??? We's waitin, WooF!!!
  17. Model Clubs are COOL Chuck! The one I belong to DMCC, meets once a month, and is a blast. We have guys who come outta northern Ohio just to come an talk Models! We have a GREAT TIME. It's up to how you value your time? If ya think a hour drive ta hang out with OTHER guys who think JUST LIKE YOU is worth it, then that hour ain't that long.
  18. And you guys wonder WHY i don't post!!!Yeeesh.
  19. Jeeeze Grzegorz, that's a hard enough kit to find here, much less over there! You did a GREAT job on it! I like the color
  20. VERY nice Cliff! GREAT attention to detail! With efforts like THAT, It'll be a KILLER lookin model! Lookin GREAT so far!
  21. I just saw one of the fellas talkinabout payin 122 Euros, that comes out to 163 U.S bucks!!! Just a tad outta my range. Now, like I said, if Juha would pop that Grand Am, I'd GLADLY pay it for THAT kit!!!
  22. Gabe, YES they DO sell at shows. Ya jus gotta get a hold of them, ASK what shows they'll be at, and if it's near you, ask them to bring the kit you want, give them your name, and they will bring it for you. They are VERY nice to work with, and will go out of their way to help you out. They're VERY nice people.
  23. Charlie, it's resin, yeah you can jus plug the sunroof. I actually built these cars back at the old Fisher Body Fleetwood plant here in Deeetroit. Those quarter panels on them were TALLER than ME! Still a beautiful car though, and THE NEXT resin purchase I make! LOVE me a Cadillac!!!
