Look What's Coming In 2008 From Revell Germany!
george 53 replied to larrygre's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
YES! I have to agree with Exotics, Ithink it would make a great R.V. conversion. I've converted 2 Hess training vans by extending the wheel bases and gutting the interiors, and they're still curbsides. As far as the price goes, has any one priced one of the Hess vans lately,If you can find one!Yeah, I'll take one maybe two! -
Welcome also Josh,Lotta neat people to meet here, things to learn hope you stay for a long time, and enjoy.George53.

Albert, to answer your question, yes the thunderbolt chassis will fit. Depending on how far you want to go,you can take the engine compartmant out and just exchange them, or you can modifiy the front wheel wells on the thunderbolt frame to allow it to slip up into the 63 body, without cutting out the e/c of the 63.But the wheel bases do match as does the width.Go for it! Hey!!! Gimme Back My Avatar!

Mr.Cruz, for your information, I do believe the individual in question is a Mr Jose Malto- a gentleman currently incarcerated in the State of Michigan Dept. of Correction. As his blood relation, and spokesman for hid Attorneys,Dewey-Cheetham and Howe, use of his like-ness may be prohibited without his direct consent. He may even take it up with you when he gets out, which I believe is in another 20/25 yrs. Then again ,maybe it's not him. George53 -
How To Remove Chrome?
george 53 replied to studioman3's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
There's a product called Simple Green that's non-caustic,doesn't smell and you don't need gloves or resperators, yet will strip paint or chrome like there's no tomorrow. Ive been using it for years and haven't found a paint yet it won't strip. Chrome, if left for 24/48 hours will be stripped down to BARE plastic(laquer and all!) you can get it just about anywhere,K-mart,ACO,wallyworld,Tru-value,you get the idea, and, above all, its SAFE.I don't believe it'll hurt you unless you drink it.you really should try it,you'll like it.George53 -

Hey guys, Guess i'm the non skilled one outa the bunch. I retired from G.M. last july with32yrs. I worked at the Det/Hamtramck Ass. plant, beter known as "poletown".I worked at Fisher Body Fleetwood in Detroit before it closed for 11yrs before transfering to poletown. I put 12yrs in primary body ass.( bodyshop) then 13yrs. in G.A.(general Assembly) finally getting into material handeling for the last 7(hi/lo driver) saw the complete assembly of Cadillacs from sheetmetal stampings to paint, body marriage(where they install the engine/running gear)to final ass. to rollout/final process. it was all pretty interesting.sometimes i tend to miss it(NOT) anyways not as hi tech or specialized as some jobs but i liked it . Provided a good income tolive and raise my family on, and i'm proud to have built Cadillacs for so long.Wife drives an 02 Eldo and she's waiting on a new CTS couldn't cut it for a V model but the sixes are pretty qwick. tanks for the opperatunity to talk about it. george 53 replied to David's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
hooookay, what does it mean no small parts? I wanted to order the roadrunner 6 pak conversion, the aar conversion and the hemi cuda hood and scoop. does this mean they are no longer available? if they aren't who else has them?I sure do hope I can still get them.George53 -
Jr73, the bee chassis pics look great you got the rear wells down pat. I personaly think the engine compartment looks good too.If your going for the daily driver look, I think the stock seats with shoulder harness would look ok but thats my own opinion, either way it's looking good,GREAT JOB! George53.
