Since I was just a teeny tiny lad I've always made my cars to roll.Sometimes ,yust sometimes when no one is watching ,I even rollthem around for my own amusement. After all, they ARE cars. But then again the ships traveling down the DEEEtroit River dont tend to upset them the way Jets or Helo's oreven cannon fire would.

Gregg, I've got the box,the cars hsd the rear wheelwells raidiused a bit but not bad and not unfixable the trunk hinges are gone and the outer taillite fairings are sanded off,but otherwise complete I think.Think you can use it? Box #T290 right? Just let me know.George53.

Guy's , Michael's runs those coupons at least 3 times a month, they work on anything in the store unless they are already on sale.Just look in the same flyer to make sure the models aren't on sale, and your good to go.George53.

Naw J.B, Ithink your right,that rag has done nothin but gone downhill since Gary sold it.From 2 excellent titles 12 times a year, to a half assed rag 6 times a year.I wonder if Gary Schmidt ever thought how lousy his hard work would become.They said it was going down to 6 issues a year to be a better magazine, But I think it was just a reason for kalmbach to save money. I'm still surprised that they wouldn't take Gregg's ad though, they must be AFRAID of a little worthy competition. I still do miss the old SAE and Car Modeler though. But fuggit Modelcars is a better mag anyways! just my humble opinion (and you know what they say about opinions)George53.

When I gpt married my wife saw my models and asked "do you really build them or just collect them?" Fender,man for a kid in the 60's you sure weren't afraid to experiment. The 32 is kinda different,but still kinda keepin with the trends of the day(remember the Beach Boys album with the blue scalloped 32 on the cover? kinda reminds me of that.) But the other one ,I see the Edsel grille and maybe the headlites,but grafting the fenders and hood from a 30's car onto a 50's body took ALOT of imagineation! Somehow in it's own weird way though it works.Bring those ideas into the 21st century and you'll probably be ok.welcome back!,George53.
