E-Man, I don't KNOW why I do it. Habit maybe? I don't even finish them anymore.Just build till I lose interest in THAT particular model, then I put it up, an start or mess with one I've already started. Don't really know when this happened, it just did. I'm fortunate in that I've been doin it for a long time, an I have a LARGE stock to pull from. My wife tells me to take them to the shows to sell, but I've had some kits for so long,they're like old freinds. Got a 69 RoadRunner with a 1.79 price tag still in plastic,from 1970, jus wish I still had the cartoon box the original issue came with! Now,I just sit an putz, not really gettin anything finished, but gettin little things done. One of these days, I'll get enuff "little things" done, that I'll actually finish one!

Looks real good Andy. Nice build. I think I like it without the roof better though.But it's a COOL lookin ride either way!

Mike, I'd hafta go with Steve on this one.Sounds like it just may be a Palmer kit.I've heard they did pop a 1 pc. body unit for the 70 kit, but, as I said I've never seen one. I'd take Steve's word on it, he does know his sh8t!

Marc,Durned if'n yer not right! I got both a 69 Coupe and a 70 coupe by revell too! Thanks for remindin'me! Yep both of em are 25th scale. Guess I AM gettin old!

Ken, ONLY AMT popped the 69/70 Mustangs in 1/25th scale. MPC's 69/70 Mustangs were underscale at 1/26th or 27th. Not till Revell came out with the 69 Cobra Jet Mach 1 Mustang a while ago, that theres been a 25th scale Mustang of that year. I've never seen the Palmer kits of those years,so I can't vouch for them. Could you have the CUSTOM grille from the 70 AMT kit? it sounds kinda like it might be,from your description. A pic would be GREAT, as I have both a 69 and a 70 AMT Mustang in my stash, and I could check for you, just to make sure.
