  5. NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT!!!! YES!!! Treehugger, an all the rest of you guys,You can look ANYWHERE you want and you WON'T find a better, more relaxed an laid back atmosphere than you will here! THATS A FACT! Gregg lets us ALL have our day anytime we want it.He's cool with what goes down on HIS website as long as we don't get STOOPID!He's patient and easy goin with us, and WE ALL owe him his due Props!Where else can we talk all the B/S that we do, and NOT get banned?SA surely woudn't put up with us,And they're not that good anyway!(IMHO)Some of the other places I visited were like war zones.Really have been there, done that, sure don't need it on my relaxation time!We got it pretty good here, if I say so myself, and I do!Your not alone Dave, I LOVE IT HERE TOO And I say it all the time!!,Thanks so much Gregg for givin all of us our lil bit o heaven here on this screen!I LOVE THIS PLACE,NOW,PARTY ON!!!!!
  6. Lyle, That's a sweet ride,Is it one o' yours or Treehuggers?I remember droolin over that rascal the first time I saw it ina magazine! Not a bad idea though Is. at least it's not yer Mothers Chrysler!(as opposed to yer Fathers Olds)
  7. What a great looking build Lyle.Personally I like the fact that you can kitbash the Revell 32 with the "Old" AMT series of 32's (like you said, with a little work) and come up with a whole set of "New" 32's Yours came out GREAT!.And until Revell came out with their new sedan, the Vickie was the only game in town!I like it!
  8. Greatpics Frank.I like em all. What color is the Chevelle Wagon? My first car was a 69Nova SS that was that color. It was called "Grecian Green" whose paints did you use?I'd like to try it again with the new Revell kit.
  9. YES! Excellent build Frank! Good color choice too.And the engine's color is spot on!It's hard to find fault in such an excellent build(not that I'm trying to)68 thru 70 Chargers are my favorite mopes. Those "Coke bottle" B-bodys were some of the prettiest cars Chrysler ever made!Great job!!
  10. No kiddin Raul, that interior sure came out good!Great use of kitbashing parts to make a neat lookin ride!Never noticed that the 50 had molded in exhast. Thanks for the heads up!Yer lil chort chures loookeen Goood!!!!
  11. Bill one of the first models my brother bought home to me on leave from the Marines was AMT's 32.the same one you got there. He channeled it down like yours, and cut the interior side panels to shorten it up so the body would sit nice an low, just like yours.Even the radiator shell was left long.I asked him if the rad was to long on purpose. He said "no I just dint have a torch" and that the top on the rad had to match the top of the cowl so the hood would fit.To this day, THAT was/is the essence of a real Hot Rod to me.I love it!
  12. Neat little story Raul, to go with a neat lil rod! Wish MY folks had the bucks to do somthin like that for me, when I was a kid!I like it, it came out really cool!
  13. Ron, I hope you mean the AMT 69 GTX seats Cause AMT DIDN"T MAKE a 68 GTX. I don't have any reference pics of 69 GTX interiors, but I'll take your word for it.I sure could use a coulpa sets for my JoHan 69 RR's.
  14. Nick,WHAT THE FU ......???!!!!!
  15. Dirkster,I likes the way the carbs come past the cowl line! makes it look even lower than it is!AND THAT is sayin somthin!I likes it!
  16. Oh, BTW Beemer, Real nice job on that Chevelle, I really like yer paint job!
  17. Welcome Beemerman. Dont worry about your english, caz a few of us cant read/write or talk so well either!Glad to see guys from the other side of the pond joinin in. Yep your part of the MCM family now, so please enjoy!I know your gonna like it here!
  18. Did G.M. copy those lower taillights for the 69 Camaro R/S? just check them rascals out, they're a exact match!
  19. Yeesh Is,I had no idea they even HAD PACE CARS that far back! Well as usual If'n anybody can pull it off, YOU DA MAN!.Take a pic of it in your "garage" when it's done, that checkerboard floor will go great aganst that color!
  20. Bill, they aren't just cooling scoops? Are they for tyre(like the Brits say) clearance?
  21. Harry, your so slick you really had me on this one.The ONLY thing that nagged me was the scoop on the left rear quarter panel,It's so thin that it was buggin me,but I figgered it coulda be P/E'd.That sure is a purty car though! Was it in Vegas too?
  22. Well I'll betcha yer teeth'll get brushed REAL fast!Great idea for a build off! Goes to show ya how a modelers brain really works, never off, always thinkin of what to build next!Great idea Merk!I like it!
  23. Gregg, thanks for even considering it.I din't see too many responses so maybe it hasn't been scene by enough of the guy's.If only a few want it,and not the rest, it may not be worth your time and trouble. It was just a suggestion to keep peace in the house, and try to make everyone happy. but if not enough people care, why bother?Personally,I like it the way it is,caz I'm not a political person.I was just thinkin out loud an wonderin if others might find it a more agreeable solution. Thanks again for thinkin about it,after all, it IS YOUR desicion.I was just tryin to separate the politics away from the models.
  24. Bill honestly I think your right, I do feel it's an attempt to try to bring back a feeling of our youth.I have SO many memories (an a few scars)from those times and I would've loved having a son to share and be able to relate them to.I sold my 69 Charger R/T caz the insurance cost me more than I paid for the car! But I sure do remember EVERY streetrace I ever got onto with it!Same with my Nova, my first real car(caz I made payments on it!)They're long gone, but the memories they left sure arent! They're still with me though, ona shelf, and every time I pick one up, I'm back at it again!
  25. ######'n Dint have no pigeon poop on my gayroge caz I had me a Daisy Air Rifle! You know If you leave them pigeon carcasses layin around, the rest of em'll see them an stay away!Who said they was dum?Besides with all that practice, I madesharp shooter in the service, and it came in usefull in da Nam!!!
