  1. LUCKY GUESS,LUUCCKKYY GUESS,Why Calahan I knowed wut is was all along, I was jus givin the guys a chance to git in onna funn!It would be easier if you'd cum up wit some that want as ol as you!Yeeesh I FINALLY get one right an this is the props I get!Don't make me come down ta Fladuh an get you DIRTY,HARRY!!!!!(Ahhhhhaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaa,I got a million of em!!!!!)
  2. Looks GREAT Ken.Remindes me of those conversions they used to do on the 68/69 vettes. The lines all flowed so well on those. These do too.Real cool idea, wonder if someone will try it on a 1:1
  3. I gotta agree with Cal, I set a limit and I don't go over it.The 300 was my only exeception I ever made, And I was mad at myself after I did it.(i couldn't retract my bid!) If you stay in your right mind and not let the bidding fever get to you, you can get reasonable deals on stuff.Maybe even a bargan occasionally. But I,ve been "sniped" too and oh well, there's always next time.
  4. syco, send me an addy an I'll send you one.
  5. Yeah Calahan, thats all it took, Its a White touring car!(Actually its a Blue touring car,But what the fu#@ I'm feelin lucky!)
  6. Nick, I don't think it's a C-111,caz it's too pretty.No now that I think about it more, I'm SURE it's not.
  7. How bout a MACK or a White? I know I'm clutchin at straws, but I GOTS TA KNOW!(and no,I'm not feelin lucky)(Dirty Harry Zeb,get it? )
  8. Psychoboy, Welcome to the forum! first of all if your gonna build an AUTHENTIC DofH General Lee, Youd best start off with the Revell 69 Charger kit, as the MPC/Amt kit is a Charger 500 mishmash! All you can use from the AMT kit is the decals!Best to go with the Revell kit and be happy with the end result than to spend your time and have a totally wrong model with the AMT kit.
  9. Hot Rod, I sure wouldn't plan a holiday around em.They're only worth what someone is willing to pay for 'em.Maybe in Merry ol they might go for more than here, but even then, they'd be better if they were mint.Have you thought about the Bay? that's probably your best chance to get any kind of money for them. But then thats just my opinion.Wish you luck.
  10. WoW Steve, that sure came out nice! I just got one off the Bay, and it was kinda reasonable, considering it was still in the box! Thanks for the info on the engine, cause I'm not that astute on AMC's.Yours looks great! I should be so lucky with mine!
  11. Well Is, another winner! Goes to show how we should NEVER toss out old plastic even if it looks unsalvageable! Great job on the save!never woulda guessed it was a junker!
  12. OK Harry, Glad to see you back!!!Hope you enjoyed Vegas. NOW, this looks real to me, but I got a feelin it's just a ruse to fool us!I'm goin with Model on this one, ALTHOUGH it LOOKS like the real deal!I think yer jus makin up for lost time!######, yer good!
  13. It IS the Ramchargers Transporter, I'm not sure, but MPC MIGHT have released it without the dragster.Either way it's VERY rare.
  14. Bill I'm a born n' raised REAL LIVE GHETTO KID, It'll take a WHOLE LOT more n' sticks an stones to fu#% with me! I ALWAYS carry heat with me,It's better to have and not need, than to not have and need!Just some ol Bagley Boy reasonin!
  15. STICKS AN STONES....Just keepin the anticipation level up there!
  16. That thing wount last 5 min here in Deeetroit! As SOON as the punks saw it they'd pull a slice an dice on that skin,it would look like Andy Warhols Frankenstien! Who comes up with this crazy sh8t? It sure looks good and different, but it's not really practical unless it can be made 1000% puncture proof!!!
  17. ######'n an Flor,I got a parts pack hemi for ya's not to worry!Jus tell me where to send it an it's gone.
  18. Bill, why you wanna hurt me so bad(with respect to Mary Wells) I've also got 66,67, 68,Chrysler 300's but no 65!I've been lookin on Evil bay for about a year now,(thats when I turned on to Evil)but each one I saw was in the 200 an up range.Like I said before, I want to build them, not make investments, so I guess I'll just keep lookin at the toy shows an Evil bay, till I find a deal like yours!(If I'm LUCKY!)
  19. Such a tragedy to lose a member of the racing community like this, But, it also remindes us of what a dangerous sport it really is.You never know when you'll be called home, but you MUST go!My deepest condolences to this family and freinds,I used to watch his Dad run at Detroit Dragway, back in the day.Scott Kalitta will be missed.
  20. Bill, an you said you'd never seen a Deeetroit ghetto garage! We only drank beer in there so an ol burn out was jus fine for us, if we had Red Barn, we would use the Clark station on the corner of Clark an Vernor, Cause Ma want havin no dirty hands an footprints all over her john!
  21. yeah Clay, I kmow eggsakly wot you mean!
  22. Cal if your talkin bout the Chrysler 300(65) I've yet to see one go for LESS than 200.00 bucks!I bid on the last one I saw up to 235.00 bucks, But still got out bid.It finally sold for 285.00! I want to BUILD IT not make an investment.I coulda kicked my own a$$ for bidding 235.00 But I really want one! thats why I said I'll go a coupla kits for it!
  23. Ive always wanted the old AMT 28 Ford sedan from the mid 60's I finally found one at a toy show and paid 100.00 bucks for it! Wouldn't cha know it, since I gotten it, I've found 2 more for about 50 bucks each, naturally I bought them both, now I've got 3 of them rascals! All unbuilt in original boxes! Now my quest is on for a 65 Chrysler 300, by Jo han.I've posted it in the wanted section of the forum, but so far no ones been able to help.I've got Quite a few of peoples "wish list of cars,so if anyones got one I'd be MORE than HAPPY to make a deal of some kind(HINT,HINT)
  24. ######, Great minds think alike! I dun did the SAME thing to my 34 P/U! 3in. chop, filled in the wheel well location, an it's still in prime!######, I gotta get this postin stuff down better!
