Abe,That caz most of us ol farts HAD those kits!!There were ALOT of two in one kits back in the early to mid 60's.one of my favorites was a 29 Furd roadster an the Ala Kart.They had a 27 touring car with Tex Smiths XR-7 too.(another favorite),there were quite a few 2 in 1 kits,but as time went on, naturally the companys got greedy an they slowly faded from the scene.But once,yeah you could get two whole kits in one box for 2 bucks!!!

Uu,Uu,######'n if I member correctly, there was like a copper underbase to the chrome on the grille,My Pop had PAINTED his with silver paint on the 52 caz some of the chrome had actually worn thru!!!NOW THAT would be Rattey! ( Details,Details)

Florian, the reason the 33 van fits the Chevy cabriolet fenders is because they once were in the same kit!They were the kit Biscuit 's talkin about.Both parts wre IN the kit, but you only got enough parts to build ONE car.they kinda played ya,caz you couldn't build Both cars.Not like the AMT or Revell 2 in 1, where you could build 2 whole cars!

Ol Jeff Foxwothy should give a listen to ya'll, He could get him some pointers!(no, NOT the dogs!)

Guys, I ordered a 68 GTO funny car body back around Christmas before I was aware it was AFX's E-Bay website. I had to threaten ol monica sowers about goin to the E-Bay powers that be about gettin my order or my money back,and lo and behold, after about 4 months I got my order! Lesson learned, NEVER deal with AFX AGAIN!!!!!

Randy,I think I read somewhere that the molds for the 33/34 panel van had been modified to make the junk "Barrabas Van"from the ol "Dark Shadows" TV show.We'll never see that again, but maybe on of the model co. could see fit to bring out some of the kits you mentioned. It would be nice.

Florian,Just wanted to tell ya how lucky you are to have yer Dad be into old cars.They were SO easy to work on No weird electronic stuff, no fuel injection,no computers an PCM proms!.Your REALLY gonna like it!My Dad taught my how to do SO MUCH on those cars.It's almost like a lost art,cause it's so basic! Be like Ol SpongeBob an absorb all you can,cause it may be old, but it IS the basics of engine mechanics.Oh,BTW, you build some MEAN models too!!!!Good luck!!!

Yer more'n welcome ######'n, I jus figgerd if you goin this far.....Honestly never thought about weldin up the seam,but yeah, makes sense to me now.The storms took out the cable(Comcast) but not the juice.no phone,TV or internet.Just had sporatic service, you know on an off sh8t.the cable co. just called about 20 min.ago and after 2 days I got all my sh8t back!NOTHING like what happened to Abe though,Thank God!Hopin every things cool with all you other guys!!!!
