Wow Dave you built it from peices?Like a real car?Did you start with an available kit and modify it or did you actually form the roof and quarter panels and fenders,like stampings?I'mean this rascal just freaks me out, I'm tryin to see just how you were able to do this by lookin at the pictures closer, but they can't get close enough! this build is just incredible to me.Thanks for posting it!

Florian, actualy Andy's idea is pretty good, but instead of using the foil in your kitchen, go buy yourself a Hershey bar thats got the silver wrapping,it's much thinner and more apt to follow the contours of your wheels better.I use it when I foil cast emblems off bodies.Hope this helps.

good lookin model! I like the basic black on it(any color as long as it's.....) Our own Tim Boyd did a build up on this kit a gave some tips on how to avoid the interior fit problem. I think I'll re-read that particular article before I tackle this bad boy.Your came out nice,I likeee!

WoW I had NO idea these feelings ran so deep! I was born and raised in Deeetroit,even though my grandparents were born in Mexico.I don't harbor any kind of sentiment for Mexico,Because I are not from there.I've always considered my self an AMERICAN/MEXICAN,and not vice/versa.I could care less about the Mexican/American war,even if it is American history.My dad used to joke about his uncle riding with Pancho Villa,against Gen.Pershing,Till I found out from my uncles(his 2 remaining brothers)upon his passing that he really DID have an uncle who rode with the ol boy.I certainly dont hold any feelings of any kind against America for that.That was then,this is now!To be judgemental over something that happened 150 years ago does not make any kind of sense to me.Were any of us THERE?The ones who fought and died for thier ideals are long gone.God rest their souls.Blame the media,T.V. and Movies for stereo typing the "Redneck" veiw of the south.My beloved wife is from Florida(Tampa) and aside from them ###### gators an bugs I don't got no bad feelins about the south.But then again gators an bugs can't hold grudges for 150 years.That's Why stuff is so fu#*ed up today! .45's have too much recoil for me.My wife and daughter are both proficient in the use of handguns.They both prefer the 9MM.So do I. ALL my handguns are 9MM (with "Blu-Glazer" rounds) My personal piece is a SigSauer P-230 W/Glazers(it's a 9MM short)Let me tell ya THAT bad boy will stop ANYONE! The cops ain't too crazy about 'em cause the can penetrate Kevlar. But I don't plan to shoot cops, so I don't care.You can find these rascals at most gunshows about 15/20 bucks for 12 rounds.They expand when they hit and are known as trauma rounds in most E.R.'s.Try 'em, if your life depends on 'em,you'll be GLAD you did!!!Nothin against .45's but it's too heavy for me.Just a personal thing.

Guys, Believe it or not,Michigan has a conceled weapons law.It was enacted about 5 years ago, and much to the police's surprise, it did not lead to more crime, but a reduction in car-jackings in Deeetroit.Whan about 5or6 attempted car jackers were killed,them a$$ holes started thinkin about the consequences and reprecushions o' they actions!!!Personally I think it's a good law for the law-abbiding private citizen.Now I don't have to carry my weapon illegaly anymore. Having lived in Deeetroit all my life,and working in Southwest,and then Northeast Deeetroit,It was very unfortunately,a simple fact of life here.No matter what kwamis p.r. bull tells ya,this is NOT a safe town to live/visit. Thats a real shame too, cause the majority of the folks are really nice.It's the PUNKS what aint got no upbringin that run this place down,that goes for kwami kilpatrik.
