yeah, ive always HATED enamels, i used lacquers for ages, but now that i have an air brush and a compressor, ive been using Dupont chromabase base clear paints, that stuff literally dries in about 10 minutes
i wasnt thinking chassis wise i was thinking wheels and tires wise. make a traditional rod out of it.
There a Gene winfield built 41 id like to make a clone of. Need rear fenders from the AMT 50 chevy pick up and a bed from a 56 ford to do it though.
im trying brad, ill be clearing it tomorrow, painting the last couple bits on the engine that i need to paint, so its a distinct possibility itll be done for sat....

Started another, Interior will be a REd black 2 tone, with a red dash, Red wheels, frame, engine.
Body in gloss black with the single bar flipper hubcaps.
well, i suppose any of the 48's will work, i did have the new one in mind, lets say, any of the 48's as long as some of the new one's parts are utilized (wheels/tires etc)
