    yeah, ive always HATED enamels, i used lacquers for ages, but now that i have an air brush and a compressor, ive been using Dupont chromabase base clear paints, that stuff literally dries in about 10 minutes

    i wasnt thinking chassis wise i was thinking wheels and tires wise. make a traditional rod out of it. There a Gene winfield built 41 id like to make a clone of. Need rear fenders from the AMT 50 chevy pick up and a bed from a 56 ford to do it though.

    i figure tray and have them done for a year from now and entry times is wide open from now till then

    you wouldnt be able to rub out the pearl clear without sealing it with a regular clear first.

    not that i can think of, i plan on getting at least 3 or 4 more, pluss the one ive just started.

    they also make a rattle can pearl white so does testors (one coat lacquer White lightning)

    im trying brad, ill be clearing it tomorrow, painting the last couple bits on the engine that i need to paint, so its a distinct possibility itll be done for sat.... and as for work its REALLLLLLLLLY slow lol

    smithy's makes one that sells for 12,995 BUT it has a 3 hp spindle motor and comes with software. so, yeah MUCH better value for the money.

    Started another, Interior will be a REd black 2 tone, with a red dash, Red wheels, frame, engine. Body in gloss black with the single bar flipper hubcaps.

    well, i suppose any of the 48's will work, i did have the new one in mind, lets say, any of the 48's as long as some of the new one's parts are utilized (wheels/tires etc)
