    Heres something else, the median price of cars from 55-75 changed little after 1980 they tripeld the cost. my parents had to have the computer replaced 2x on one of their cars costing a bundle.

    Heres something to chew over watch tucker a man and his dream. many of todays safety ideas came in 1948! Oldsmobile had air bag opt in the early 70's on a few of their cars

    If memory serves me right amt retooled a 57 chevy add the bare metal with it and the pro shop came w/photo etched parts and rubber hoses. back in the late 60s early 70s a few corvette kits had real springs

    I think that its unfair to say that all car builders cheap some of us here have a fixed and or low imcome. and simply cant afford higher costing kits.

    Even if my wife could afford a new car or pickup we would not waste that much money on something that cost to much when it goes wrong. to have fixed.

    G.M. X- FRAME STARTED WHITH THE 58 TILL THE LAST YEAR BEING 64. NOW WITH THAT SAID if the car I was driving last friday was newer it would have been totaled.

    that depends on what year 63-74 have frame cancer we had a 64 in school the body and int were like new but the frame rotted into! gm.s x-frame wasnt a good choice that impala wouldnt make it with a 66 impala

    most of us know that gm's x frame setup isnt like a strait box frame.

    We live across the road from a FORD dealer a 2012 explore can set you back 38,549-49,152 dollars! yikes. and we thought model prices were bad what you see from takeing a walk

    In my own defence I have bought both 66 wagons and el camino as big lots had the wagon for 6.99 I had to buy the el camino to get the stock parts thats how revell makes more money

    I have built 2 of them never had that problem if you have the 66 wagon the dash from one would work otherwise trim the sides down a tad.

    I agree they should of put in stock tire . with that said if they ever reissue the 66 chevelle wagon,I hope they issue it with stock wheels and hood from the 66 el camino.

    Gloss clear over them protects them but it depends on what you want.

    My wife thought of this .Red Green duct-tape specials. If you seen the show you'll know of Reds cars and duct-tape . But in l/24 or l/25 how about it?
