This is my favorite DM I own. The color, air conditioning tubes in the rear window, engine detail and the overall presentation.
Hope you like it as much as me.

Another Testors Jimmy Flinstone custom. Painted in Testors Candy Grape over Metalizer Brass and then topped off with 3 coats of clear urethane. After market wheels were painted to match the body. There's only 20 pieces that make up this one. Talk about "In the Weeds" This model was also featured in Studebaker Quarterly in 1997 and the skinny guy with the beard is me 14 years younger. Al
This is a Testors/Jimmy Flinestone "Extremeliner" Slammer. Painted Testors 50's turquoise enamel. The chrome is white metal was polished to a chrome like finish. The wheels and tires were after market and painted to match the car. Something a little different. Al
This is a kit a I finished about 2 years ago. It's a multi media kit and heavy. This is outside my realm of the type of cars I do, but I love BBR's quality and it was fun build. Al
This is an older AMT kit. Painted Dark Maroon Met. enamel with clear urathane top coat. It has operating hood pins, which I can't work anymore because I can't see the pins. Al
I've always had a thing for station wagons, This is a varity of scales1:43, 1:25 and 1:18. Resin, plastic, diecast and white metal. I didn't even include my hearse's and ambulances. I can't wait for NNL East, for ore wagons will be coming. Enjoy, Al
Alan,Use the interior of the Skyliner for everything, you'll have to cut off the top part of the dash from the front fender unit in the Revell kit ( hardest part of the whole build. Also you need a piece of sheet plastic for the floor of the luggage compartment. I used the windshield and rear window glass from the kit and clear lexan for the sides. I tinted the sides and then cut them to fit. PM me if you need any help. Al
Craig, you are correct on the green tint. Tamiya doesn't make green tint. I know Testors enamel has it, but the Tamiya works better on thin coats and dries right away.Al
