This AMT 300 was built box stock, but I wanted it in another color than red, black or white. So I chose Testors brown met. lacquer and a saddle interior. What do ya think? Al
This cougar is is painted in the above color. I used Tamiya's white primer. It only has 3 coats of the color and four coats of clear. Hope this helps. Al
Thanks everyone for your nice compliments. My uncle had a powder blue 68 Breezeway. The rear window didn't slant in like the model, but towards the trunk like a with a formal roof.
Thanks again,
Al
Alan,
They're on sale for 30% off till the end of May. 56 a piece, google America Excellence. I have the 73 Mark IV in triple silver coming Wednesday. You got to have at least one in your collection.
I don't know if this the forum to post this or not. This came in the mail for me today from American Excellence. It's a resin hand built in 1:43 and it is beautiful.
Enjoy,
Al
I think the Coupe Deville has a sunroof. I google this Caddy and when to images. There a lot of good reference photo's and a couple of Modelhaus's kit in dark blue. Thank you for the Bravo.
My 82 928 Competion Group (same as an S in the US) has 92,000 miles and runs like new. I rebuilt the engine last year and the only tools needed were a pillips screw driver, 10mm socket and the spark plug wrench that came in tool kit with the car. Used parts are available for 1/4 the price of new. Now back to the model. I was wondering, your model is a European S. The wheels on my car are 16" disc style, where your model has the phone dial style wheels. Do you know, was the wheel on the kit for Euro only.
