  1. Nice build. I like the color.
  2. Excellent workmanship!!! Fantastic Paint.
  3. Thanks guys for the nice comments I hated this kit as a kid, but when I saw a you tube video on it and found out the body was stock. I knew I had to try. I may try another in Diamond Green Next. Al
  4. Pete, This will be there tomorrow night, if it doesn't melt in the car on the ride down. This is an easy build if you have all the right parts. Thanks everyone. Al
  5. This T Bird started life as the Big Al Allison kit and was converted to a bone stock Thunderbird. Interior is from a 67 gluebomb T Bird kit and a 68 promo chassis. The car was painted body shop mixed Ford Jade Green with black interior and 2 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. The vinyl top was made with 3M Masking Tape and a black Sharpie. The windows were tinted with a light coat of Tamiya's clear blue. A lot of work went int this to get a stock Thunderbird Coupe, but worth it. Let me know how it looks. Al
  6. Excellent Alan!!! Another great replica stock!
  7. Thank you guys. It's not often that a paint job comes out this nice without any clear. I also gave my windows a light coat of Tamiya's Clear blue to simulate tinted glass.
  8. Lee, It's the Model King reissue of the AMT kit. http://www.westburymotorsports.com//AMT/1971FordThunderbordModelKingModelKit.jpg
  9. I painted this one Tamiya maroon with black interior. No clear coat was needed. The paint came out perfect, if I do say so myself. I know there aren't any mirrors, but kits of this era just didn't supply them. Let me know what you think. Al

  15. I picked this one up last week and thought it would look good in my Buick collection. I painted this Dupli-Color Caymen Green with matching interior. The body was top coated with Testors Wet Look Clear and polished out with Maguires new car glaze #5. Hope you like it. Al
