  1. Beautiful build!!! Those wheels are so much better than the star mags that came with the kit.
  2. Gold sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to this restore.

Very nice!!! Box stocks are so relaxing.
  7. Built this AMT kit straight out of the box. 5 coats of Tamiya's black out of a can and no clear. The redwalls are SATCO dry transfers. Al
  8. Ray, they are doing that exact car for the 3rd quarter.
  9. Excellent paint and lives up to your moto "SHINY"
  10. Beautiful build. I like the color and the stock wheel covers. Growing up in NW Chicago suburbs, I'm use to the GMO package with the Old's wheels and trim rings. Excellent. Al
  11. One of the greatest things that can happen to a car guy is to have a model of your first new car. Well Greenlight just released mine and arrived today. It was almost perfect with a couple details I had to add. My black and gold 77 Cobra II was an early production 77 with chrome window trim, so I broke out the BMF and now it's done. My car was also a 4 spd., no air car so I'll have to change the shifter and add a clutch pedal, I'm not going remove the additional A/C vent though. Everything on this model is outstanding, the paint is like a mirror and the interior with carpeting is beautiful. It also has decent engine detail, no plug wires though. Great job Greenlight!!! This is the most accurate Cobra II to date. The only thing is the front spoiler is metal on the model and vinyl on the real car. I wish it was metal on my 1:1, it took a beating on parking curbs. LOL Al
  12. I was going through my stash today and came across this Perry's resin that I built about 15 years ago. The car will be going into Purple Power this afternoon to strip the paint. The interior is in good condition and only needs some TLC. The chassis is from Revell's 67 Chevelle and sits on Modelhaus redwalls and Resin wheels. I haven't decided on the color or engine yet. Any suggestions. Al Update: I was going paint it gold, but when I was at Pepboys I saw Dupli-color's Torodor Red and fell in love with this Ford color. It's not a factory color, but I like the look. I started BMF yesterday and modified the chassis. This resto will be a curbside, way to much modifications for me to make a full detail car. The interior was painted flat black, detailed and top coat with wet look clear to give it a nice vinyl look. The shifter is a white end sewing straght pin.
