  1. Today my 2008 Mazda CX7 turned 200,000 miles. I'm a Ford and Porsche guy, but Mazda Rule!!! My Mazspeed 3 only has 55,000 on it and both only went for service for normal wear and tear items. Great Cars!!!
  2. This the 2nd in a series of, "what if the gas crisis happened when they filmed Bullit the movie". My 1st was a Maverick and this one is AMT's 74 Pinto. The Pinto was paint with the same Dupli-color Dark Metallic Green and four coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. Interior was done in semi gloss black. Now I'll have to find a Fiesta. Hope you enjoy them. Al

  13. Rich, your not hijacking. I love seeing you cars. Beautiful build. If I remember right it was a good kit with a few fit issues.
  14. Thanks Rich.Do you have one of these if your "Class of 58" collection?
  15. This is an Arii 1:24 kit I built a couple of years ago. Painted Meridian Taupe Poly mixed for me by a local body shop. The top was done in Tamiya white and everything was clear coated with clear urethane out of the can. The white walls were painted with Tamiya white brush paint. I Admoralled the tires for the pictures. Of course I knocked off the side view mirror in the garage today and is gone forever This makes a nice curbside. Al
  16. Thanks Guys!!! Jose, Retirement and lousey weather make me do these 24 hour builds.
  17. Thank you, Bob. The wheels do help a lot.
  18. Beautiful build!!! Love the paint and the red rim with the wheel covers.
  19. It was time to build this kit that's been sitting around awhile. I painted it Tamiya Mica Red and Metallic Black with matching interior. No clear was used on the body. I swapped the kits wheels and tires with a set of Fujimi's and painted the spokes in Tamiya's clear red with black centers to match the theme. I love these quick builds, they keep me on my toes. Hope you like it. Al
  20. Very nicely done!!!
  21. I picked this up for $65.00 at a flea market in Northern Pennsylvania on Sunday. The detail is better than any Mint I have. Opening gas cap, working roll down windows, removable wheels, fully plumbed and wired, excellent brake details and cloth covered up top. This was is one heck of a buy, considering the cost new price of $279.00 and there's also a blue coupe. If you see one of these cheap and ther're out there. Just check the finish, some of them have paint rash. This one's clean. Al
  22. That's a real nice build!!!
  23. Excellent build!!! There's a Mystic for sale near my home in Greenbrook, NJ, but it's seen much better days.
  24. Beautiful Ford and Love the Chevy LUV I worked for a Chevy dealer back in 75 and our parts truck was a LUV. It was based on Izuzu pickup.
  25. Great looking builds. Love the 57.
