When I was in High School my best friends dad had one of these in burnt copper. The sound the Pantera made still plays in my head. This is my all time favorite car.. The model is a Fujimi curbsibe kit and a little on the expensive side, $62.00. But for a Pantera Fanatic, it's a must have. Painted in Testors Royal Blue Pearl Lacquer with Wet Look clear top coat. Interior was done in Tamiyas Semi Gloss black. This is a fun build and everything goes together well. Thanks for looking. Al

This one took very little of my time. I bought this at a swap meet yesturday in Wayne NJ. I was told this Grand Prix is very rare being done in black. I couldn't leave this one alone, so I added BMF, The Detailer black wash and highlighted the wheel and emblems with Tamiya's clear red. I wish someone would reissue this one. Question, detail rare promo's or leave them alone? You know my answer. Thanks for looking. Al

I've been looking this model for a very long time. I found this one on ebay at a very reasonable price. This one was finished in Testors Bright Aqua Pearl, very close to a color offered by Lincoln in 68. 2 coats of Wet Look clear topped it off. The interior is matching and the windows were lightly tinted with Tamiya's Clear Blue. The BMF on this one was tedious on the top of the fenders. I'm happy with the end results. As an owner of a 69 Continental, this is an excellent kit if you can find. Let me know what you think. Thank you, Al

Jeff, these were aftermarket wheel and tires. I got them out of my parts box and can't remember who made them. The tires are T/A radials with excellent detail. Thank you all for the nice comments. Al

Thanks everybody. Painting the 2 tone body and interior was fun. But instant gluing the under carriage to my fingers many times, it almost got stepped on. Al

This was the car I picked for the Jersey Shore Paper Bag contest and I also was given the color green. This Revell kit is not one of my favorites. The chassis and suspensions are too fragile for my hand, but with a lot of time, I finish it in time for the contest. This was painted in Testors Lacquers Greens with Wet Look clear top coats from rattle cans. The interior was done in Tamiya's flat light green and the interior also featured a two tone effect. I didn't want to go with the typical dark fenders with a light body or visa versa, so I did a an angle flip flop. The results were pretty good. I didn't win but I did place 2nd from a car I didn't think had a snowballs chance in He**. This project was way out of my comfort zone for a build, but I enjoyed the challenge. Thanks for looking. Thank you everyone. Now I'll have to find a 68 Chevelle for a set and maybe a dark blue. I bought 8 boxes of these tires and can't wait to update some more models.
