  6. Looks great!!!
  7. Thanks again guys. I used Frog Tape for the 2 tone, it makes the sharpest lines and it's much cheaper than BMF and does just as nice of a job. Al
  8. Beautiful paint and build
  9. Thank you for your nice comments. Every once and a while I need to think outside the box. Whether you like it or not, it was a fun challenge and the paint came out perfect. Al
  10. I couldn't deside which way to 2 tone this one. Light on top or dark on top, so this is what I came up with. Hope you like it. Paint is Testors spray can Ultraviolet Pearl and Diamond Dust, with Wet Look Clear top coat. The interior is matching and Tamiya Clear Blue tinted the windows. I used MV's for the Headlights to simulate Xenon lights. Wheel and tires were from Revell's 65 El Camino kit Let me know what you think. Thanks, Al
  11. Great job Ray. I've been shying away from Trumpter car kits since I had to toss the Pontiac due to stress. But the fire truck came out beautiful. After seeing yours, maybe I'll give them another try.
  12. Thanks guys. For the window tint I use Tamiya Clear Blue out of the can. 4 light coats right on top of each other. It's take 5 seconds to paint all 4 coats and 1 minute later and your ready to install. Just remember light coats and the tint will be perfect. PM me if you need help. Al
  13. All my paint jobs are right out of the rattle can. I can't use an airbrush do to MS. I polish all my paint jobs out with Novus #2 and the The Treatment model wax. Thank you Al
  14. Excellent build!!!
  15. Thanks guys!!! I always liked this car, even being a Ford guy.
  16. I started this one a while back and forgot I had it. I was looking for some wheels and came across it and decided to finish it today. This is a Perry's resin trans-kit to go with Revell's 67 Chevelle chassis. It was painted Dupli-color Canyon Red Met., with Testors Wet Look clear top coat. The interior was done in semi gloss black and the windows were tinted with Tamiya's Clear Blue. I have to admit it, I think it came out pretty good. Let me know what you think. Al
  17. Thanks guys. Alan I had to use a whole can of Testors Wet Look clear to get the Krylon paint to look good. The fumes were a good time Al
  18. Sorry about the darker pictures. It's dark and snowing here and I had to take them in the garage instead of in the sunlight as usual. I'll update them tomorrow. The boot is shiny because, that was the only white I had left and I wanted to finish the model. But thanks for the nis comments. Al
  19. Great looking Mustang!!!
  20. This one started live with me in an ugly dark blue with red interior. The only thing missing was the convertible boot, steering wheel and tail light lenses. The body and interior were strip in Purple Power and the chrome bumpers were redone using BMF. The bodies paint is Krylon Pastel Yellow and wet look clear. The interior done Tamiya's in gloss black to bring out the vinyl interior look. The Modelhaus parts were used for the missing part. I never had this one before. It was an fun restoration. I still have 6 more to go, got a little crazy on ebay. Thanks for looking. Al
  21. Charlie, I'm a new member of the NNL and will be working the show in NJ in 2014. I look forward to meeting and talking to you. Al
  22. Thanks again guys. I just used instead glue with an accelerent and nothing else was needed, top fit that we'll. The body cracks were popped back in place and a little putty was applied and sanded smooth.
  23. Thank you everyone. I love restoring these gluebombs. Coming before the end of the week will be my latest vintage 64 Buick Wilcat Convertible in pastle yellow. My parts from The Modelhaus came today and the paint is done. Hope this one comes out as good as the Toranado. Thanks again. Al
  24. I got this one at the LIARS show a couplle of weeks ago. The built kit was totally dismantled and all non-chrome parts were soaked in Puple Power and then painted Testors Royal Blue Pearl Lacquer with 4 coats of Wet Look Clear. The car wasn't in to bad of shape with the exception of where the windows were attached, the old glue melted the outside of the body. Alll and all, it came out pretty good. Hope you like it. Al
  25. Thanks Alan and Larry. The top from the Ford was a perfect fit. I alway had a thing for the Meteor, you just don't see many. Al
