  1. Beautifully done!!! Love the wheels
  2. Thanks guys and Gene I just got these last Night from Model King and they are the new release from AMT.
  3. This is a year old build with a set of AMT's new Goodyear "Polyglas GT" RWL tires. The car was painted in Dulpi-color GM maroon, clear urethane and Tamiya semi gloss black interior. The tires bring this model alive. These tires are a must have for the muscle car builder. Thanks for looking. Al
  4. Excellent build!!!
  5. Very nice. Great stance!!!
  6. Once again a beautiful restoration!!!
  7. Thanks again everyone. Charlie there's just something about a red convertible that get to me Al
  8. Thanks guys, This was a mint original kit I got off ebay. I don't collect kits, I build em!!!
  9. I've always been a fan of Big Red Convertibles. I started this one the other day, painted Tamiya's Italian Red and 4 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. Interior was done in Tamiya's white primer with dark red carpeting and the dash is done in black. This may be one the shiniest paint jobs I've done. Thanks for looking. Al
  10. I remember this one. Nice build!!!
  11. Thanks one more time guys. I just picked up a mint 71 Vega and as soon as I figure out what color, I think I can break that 5 hours. Taking your time building is the great thing about this hobby, but doing research during a quick build is a real challenge. Al
  12. Thank you again everyone!!! I added BMF to the door handles and I'm waiting for more Detailer for the wash. Carl and I both suffer from MS and we continue to build. It keeps us going and all the praises from all the members here shows we can overcome our disabilities. Al
  13. Beautiful Jim. I really like the tan running boards and top.
  14. Thank you everyone. This was a fun build, pushing myself to new limits.
  15. Alan, I only use Testors Lacquers and Tamiya's acrylics sprays. They dry in a minute and then I always top coat it with Testors Wet Look clear. I am able to BMF in less than a hour.
  16. I painted it outside in the breeze and sun.
  17. Harry, I only have so much time to get things done before my MS starts and my hands start trembling and I can't finish. Then I loose interest and it sits on the the bench and I forget where I was going with it. I want to build as many as I can, while I still can.
  18. I just wanted to see if I could build a complete kit under 6 hours. Started on it at 11 am this morning and finish at 4 pm this afternoon. This build includes Tamiya's White Primer, Testors One Step white and 4 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior is Tamiya's Italian Red. Top it all off with BFM and the detailer black wash. Can't forget Tamiya's Clear Blue window tint. Let me know what you think. Al
  19. I'm like a machine I painted all coats of paint and clear in under 3 minutes. After the painting it I just can't stop. It's a sickness.
  20. Carl, us guys with MS have to work a little harder and it shows in our work. Al
  21. Jon, I only use spray cans. This easiest way to do the tint is to spray one light coat from right to left and one back again and your done. Always spray the inside of the glass. Hope this helps. Al
  22. Thanks Rob and Lee. The are great models with a little paint, BMF and extra detail.
  23. Great looking plain jane!!!
