    56 Del Ray

Beautiful workmanship on a great kit.
  14. I built this AMT Chevelle box stock a couple of years ago. It's painted Tamiya yellow metallic and Tamiya black, no clear coat. The interior is matching along with the chassis. This type of build is a big change from my usual replica stocks. Let me know what you think. Al

  22. Thanks guys, I adjusted the wheelbase after I took these picture and it looks a lot better. Al
  23. Just to interject, Sun Star like everyone has some hit and misses. Maisto has great interior but orange peal paint. Sun Star has taken over where Highway 61 left off, but better. It's hard to beat their Platinum Series, especially in this price range. Heres a couple more Platinum Series. Al
  24. Beautiful build!!! Back in 64 my uncle and his son both had white 62 Grand Prix's. My uncles had light blue interior and my cousin had black and a set of lake pipes. Great cars.
  25. This one started out as a promo restoration project for a 68. Well the grill was damaged beyond repair and none of the resin casters make replacement grill. So while I was at NNL East I came across a partial 70 kit, less chassis and glass for $15.00. I primed the kit body with Dupli-Color red primer, 3 coats of Dupli-Color Toredor Red and 3 coats of Testors Wet Look Clear. The interior matches the body less the clear. The chassis and glass are from the promo. Harry Look, Mirrors. Let me know what you think. Al
