  1. Harry, My 53 Olds, 54 Ford and my 56 Continental MKII, all had tint on all windows. I know because I had to replace side glass on all 3 and it was hard to find.
  2. This is a car I wish Revell would make. Danbury did such a great job on the body proportions and incredible engine detail and the pewter paint is so different, it's perfect. Al
  3. Growing up in the 50's and 60's, the one option my dad and uncles insisted on tinted glass. Didn't have a radio, but our glass looked good.
  4. I just went down and counted the wagons only and there are 39.in all. I'll have to buy #40 at NNL East.
  5. Rich, 3,600 including diecast and resins. I'm a MODEL IDIOT, just ask my wife
  6. Great collection. I love the yellow Buick.
  7. This is a Jimmy Flinstone body only using a Revell Skyliner and a donor kit for everything else. It took me 2 months to make this look right. The paint is Testors lacquers and of course the window are lightly tint blue. My wagon collection is getting there. Al
  8. This is Revell's 68 Firebird.I love white cars with red interior. The only thing this car needs is a set of redwalls.. This was painted Tamiya white with Krylon dark red interior. Al
  9. Thank you for all the nice comments. It was a fun build. Wait till you see my 59 Ranch Wagon later this week. Al
  10. Harry, Everything from the donor kit fit perfectly, but the drivers side front lower fender has a slight warp that wouldn't straighten out. Otherwise you would think AMT built a Parklane. Al
  11. I finally finished this one today. This is a Hendrix Resin using an AMT 56 Ford as a donor kit.. I painted it Testors Black Laquer and Tamiya 50's pink with Wet Look Clear. Also Tamiya blue tint on the windows. Wheels are from Linbergh's 53 Ford Pace car. The resin clean up was a B****. on this one. This one fits in my wagon collection perfectly. What better way to say 1950's than Pink and Black. Al
  12. I build this one for a friend of mine who just bought one at the Atlantic City Auto Auction to replace the his first new car that he bought back in 67. I will deliver this to him on Friday. Hope he likes it. Al
  13. When these came out, they were like unbuilt Franklin Mint. They build up into nice replica's If you can find one these 2, you won't be sorry. Especially "The Judge" Hope you like them. Al
  14. Beautiful Job!!! I did mine in the same color, but had black interior.
  15. Cool!!! Love the Silver paint job
  16. My mom got this Hubley RR Promo for me from her boss back in 1960. It has slight warpage but otherwise it's in very good condition.
  17. Beautiful, all it need is a nice set of whitewalls and then it'll be perfect.
  18. Very sharp looking Cuda!!!
  19. Beautiful workmanship!!!
  20. Another comparison, Growing up in the 60' and 70's, I never liked these cars. They were poorly made, rattled over anything and you had to roll down the windows to get the door to close, but they were fast. The Challenger was painted in Ford Candy Apple Red from Ford parts dept. The Cuda in Chevy Silver blue that looks like it has a green tint. Both are Monogram's. I always like the Challenger better. Al
  21. Excellent Build!!! And my favorite a Plain Jane .
  22. This is another rare one I just picked up Chicago for 10 bucks. I built this when first came out in the 80's and then I moved and the movers lost the box with this in it. I'll build it again, someday.
  23. Thanks guys. These are great kits with nice detail. They are plastic, not diecast. A little hard to fine, but worth the hunt. Al
  24. Beautiful build!!! Love the paint.
