  1. This came out great!!!
  2. This is a curbside. I'm like a kid when I get a new resin, I want to finish it and Jimmy's bodies fit pretty well for transkits The body on this one and the 60 Ford are thin like a plastic kit. The 56 Ford was thicker.
  3. nice clean, I mean dirty work
  4. Thanks all. I always get suckered in to R&R when I go to NNL East and think maybe they got better and then say myself never again. They have so many cars nobody ever done. They are stricky curbside and the challenge is there. Al
  5. Beautiful build.
  6. Great looking job!!! I had trouble with the decals too, so I used white vinyl tape (electrical tape) from the Home Depot. It comes in many colors and it's about the perfect scale for 1:12. Just lay it down and try not to stretch and it comse out well. Just a thought. Al
  7. This one started life as a BBR resin kit. Paint Tamiya Yellow and clear top coat. There isn't many pieces in the kit but the casting is second to none and the photo-edge sheet is incredible. Window surounds, disc brakes, shift gate, wiper and scripts are all Photo-edged and all the lighting are done with MV. Why am I tell you this, because it's all done in 1:43 scale. It took me 4 month to finish this one. If you ever get a chance to build one of these BBR kits, jump on it. The results are outstanding. Al
  8. I like it. I remember these. The front fenders reminded you of a Vette of the same year when you were behind the wheel and driving it. Great job!!!
  9. Very nice, I like replica stock build, nice color.
  10. I built this a while ago. This is another R&R resin, that I bought at NNL east about 10 years ago. They are a lot of work, but with time a little and a lot of Scotch, they can make a nice curbside. Al
  11. This was a All American Resin trans-kit I built a couple of years ago. Nice looking truck, if only Dodge would have made it. Al
  12. What can I say,I think I had a lot of maroon paint, either that or the paint fumes made me think it was orange. The 60's were good to me. Al
  13. Incredible Colors!!!
  14. This is a model I built when I could see better The model is by Provence Moulage and it's a 1:43 Resin Kit. Painted in Dupli-Color dark red metalic with Tamiya clear top coat. The whitewalls and interior are hand painted, BMF was used on all other trim pieces. Al
  15. Beautiful!!! Beautiful!!!
  16. Love the paint!!! Nice build.

    56 Chevy

Sometimes I build Chevies. This one is painted in Testors lacqeur and Tamiya blue tint on window. You won't find engine or chassis details on my models, I'm a interior/exterior finish guy. I do enough engine and chassis detail on my 1 to 1 82 Porsche, besides; I can't see that well anymore Al I also included a picture of my almost restored Porsche engine.
  18. Yes, it's a R&R Resin. Pain the neck build, major fit problems.
  19. Beautiful job!!! Excellent Paint.
  20. Well, somebody had build one and a lot of poeple never seen one before. It was Americas first small car after WWII. Kinda reminded me of a refrigerator with tires. I really got to stop painting with maroon paint though. Al
  21. I may be called Porscheman because of my 1 to 1 Porsche, but I am Ford guy and always will be Besides, I couldn't afford a Shelby. Al
  22. Great Job!!! I love wagons.
