I got some more done to this today. It's mocked up to see how it's going to look. A little more work and she'll be done. -

I hope to get the decals on this tomorrow. I'm also finishing the 70 GTO "Tin Indian".

Knafel Pontiac's 70 GTO Tin Indian

I got more done this morning. I have two more decals that I have to print and install, maybe tomorrow. -
I started this build a while ago and I couldn't finish it because of the decals. Well, the decals for the 66 GTO is close enough for me and I got them today in the mail. I need to let the Pontiac on the left rear fender dry before I can put the Red outline over it. The decal doesn't want to set down and I used Micro Set and Sol to get it to set down and now I wait for it to dry. The same goes for the Knafel on the right side. The body lines are compound and the decals are hard to set. I also made the Indian decal on the front fender.

Sorry it's taking so long for this build. I had to finish a 62 Corvette and 59 El Camino. I stripped the green off and finally got some white primer sprayed on today. I also got the interior and chassis painted black. Next comes the gloss white for the body.

Here is a 40 Ford coupe I built way back in the day. A before and after pic. I used thread for the plug wires and the red hose coming out of the firewall is the hose from the pressure tank inside. After I restored it I left the engine alone and repaired the body and re-painted it almost the same color.

Thanks guys, and Robert, yes I'm using the original chassis. I found a two four barrel manifold to use also. The Green paint is now history and the next step is the White color and I think a Black interior.

My next drag Chevy. Don Nicholson's 63 Impala. I just received this model in the mail today and it is in the purple pond now. It is an original kit and in perfect condition. This will be easier than some of the other builds because of the condition that it's in at the beginning. Lots of work to be done.

Thanks David. I like the Starliner much better than the Galaxie and wish AMT would release the Starliner again.

Thanks Carl.

? Thanks Mike. Yeah, I'm a Chevy man but there are a few Fords that I do like a lot.
-
Thanks Mark. I'm not a big fan of Fords but there are a lot of them that I do like and the 61 Starliner is one of them. I really enjoyed modifying this car cause I've always wanted a 61 Starliner and now I have one.

Thanks guys.

Here are the finished pics of the 61 Starliner I converted from a Galaxie. Thanks to Chris Jr. the third and a couple other guys for the parts that I needed to complete this build. It's great to have friends who are willing to help when needed.
