ah ya the fld freightshaker the first truck i had on with gravel the loader guy wud slap 80,000 pounds in box id have the 15 speed in deep reduction the 460 cummins just screamin black smoke firing out stacks ahh ya fond memories..... beautiful kit fairly accurate

we haul gravel, mostly build roads with this belly dump she will take 42.5 tonnes or lil over 80,000 lbs will spread the load about 40 feet or so

kenworth does have a beautiful dash tho.not 100% keen on the new pete dash ...

the other day i had a chance to sit in a 05' ws constellation4964,everything was big on er the hood was tall wide long, cab was roomy,good roomy bunk,id never give up drivin a pete but i was highly impressed with the ws. dash seemed a bit cheap..may have to model the newer style ws someday what a beauty!

transtar ll is hands down my fav c/o 77-79 .... my father drove a 78' as akid i remember it bein high ,my dad had to lift me up.he'd bring her home id just n stare at her.loved how the air cleaner went how it curved above the cab.tim thnx for all the info on the older transtars i enjoyed reading it now to find a transtar ll in 1/24 scale hmmmm....... lots of scratch building in my future . farwaymodeltruckfleet
