Is it possible to build a current KW?
jekylljr replied to mikelo's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
t-600 t-800 and w900L and w900b basically all share the same cab with the wrap around windsheild, some have what they call daylight doors which means the bottom of drivers//passenger doors dips down for better vision for the mirror,....more or less for the convex mirror, but the daylight doors is just an option other wise they are same. i to would like to build a modern kenworth w900l and a t800....specially the t800 with the raised hood beautiful trucks im pretty sure the t660 and t700 are totally different from the t6 t8 and w/9 cabs -

thanks for the comments guys appreciate the feedback,...for bill::: i had the license plates from the italeri western star kit 5964ss,...for catd11rpusher it is the round two kit some aspects of the build where a pain but thinkin about gettin another kit to model my ole 84' freightshaker i like the fact that the cab comes in two pieces, because now i can add the shack n a half look or even a full double bunk freightliner,my 84 c/o has the shack n a half,...and of course square head lights, altho i was lookin at another freightliner cabover same year and it has the 4 round headlights must have been a very early 84,.come to think of it my grampa had an 81 freightliner cabover double bunk so who knows maybe ill have to buy two more kits ....anyways ramblin again to many ideas..... thanks again guys fer lookin' keep on a buildin farway model truck fleet

fairly stock build, removed drivers side stack and added cobra style top hat(air breather) to give it more of a fleet feel, first time doing stripes wasnt to happy the way they turned out, daytons on front waitin to get aset for the rear....truck is modeled after one of the very first trucks my dad drove and one of many trucks i bounced around in as a boy,i still enjoy ridin round in em ole cabovers difference is i get to hammer them up n down the ole roads....kidneys may not be in same place......... anyways enjoys pics more on way thanks farway model truck fleet fa
