  1. OMG...don't ask me HOW I missed the Model Trucks section. Sorry for such a dopey question. And thanks Danno. And I can't believe you guys turned this simple question into such a stupid debate. All I did was miss the Truck section, and some of you all but called me a idiot. I posted a simple question. One reply would have sufficed. Plus, I am NOT a idiot.
  2. Hey all. Being fairly new here, where would I post my build of a lifted 4x4?
  3. Just my 2 cents, but the AMT '66 Nova (red on boxtop) has a set of excellent Cragar SS's.
  4. I love it Darryl...the entire build is awesome.
  5. Watching & learning to say the least. Romell, your scratchbuilding and dedication is incredible. I'll watch 'til the end.
  6. Darryl, gorgeous Dodge. Like Romell said, lookin' forward to the wheels on.
  7. Great lookin' build Roger.
  8. Hey Romell. Absolutely killer job my friend. You awed me with your F-350, and now this. You are one dedicated individual. And I've dealt with Rob at RB, and his parts always amaze me when they arrive. He's a craftsman like yourself. I've been watchin' this build since day 1, and I wait with baited breath for every update. Exceptional work Romell.
  9. Hey Romell...doin' well. Wrappin' up the Dodge...STILL! I spend most my forum time at ORM---http://offroadmodels.proboards.com/index.cgi and now here. I can't believe some of the incredible work bein' done here on these large scale drag cars. OK, carry on Romell.
  10. Absolutely an incredible build John. Plus, ditto to ALL of the above.
  11. Love them old Darts...actually any Chrysler. Great lookin' build Wayne.
  12. Ditto on the chassis comments. That's some clean work Drago.
  13. Hello John. I'm fairly new here, but I am totally blown away with the level of detail you are putting in this build. I love details and especially scratchbuildin', but you have gone beyond. Truly an amazing build.
  14. Hey Drago, a question...what rear axle is that?
  15. Hey Drago. That is some dedicated work you got goin'. I'm a scratchbuilder at heart (can't leave anything alone) and this project looks pretty cool. I will definitely follow. Great work.
  16. Thanks all for the comps. Jeff, I hadn't realized that I had joined back in '07...just got away from me. Nick, the grill was time comsuming. I thinned the plastic behind the grill bars (tedious) with my rotary tool. I can't think of the name of the bit, but it's a ball shape with cutting edges around it (?). I thinned it to where I could almost see thru the bars. Got my "helping hands" with magnifying glass and started cutting out in between each bar. Go slow...it's worth the effort. I then cut out the headlights and parkin' lights. Found suitable clear lenses for the parkin' and headlights. I found some chrome hubcaps in the parts box and reversed 'em for bezels behind the heads. I used rectangular off-road lights (sliced & diced) for bezels behind the parkin's. The yellow lenses were changed to clear ones. Don't have an updated pic, but you'll see it in the finished pics soon, so I'll continue here. The orange "bulbs" in the parkin' lights I found at a local craft store. They're stick-on dress-up items for cell phones or whatever. Thegrill was painted with Krylon Dull Aluminum and thinned-out acrylic black craft paint flowed into the crevices. That's pretty much it. Time consuming Nick, but it's what i do.
  17. Thanks for the "welcomes" and compliments. Here's some update pics on the Dodge. I guess when it's done I should post in the Trucks with lifted suspension? Older pic with the black wheels..... Had white paint issues. Had to come up with a different color, which I did, but it didn't go with black wheels. So I had to make new wheels and new hubs (for the Rockwells). This is the completed frame/drivetrain....... This is my grill re-do.... Still puttzin' with the interior. Should be wrapped up soon.
  18. Hey all. New here, but I wasn't sure where to post my intro. My name is Larry but I'm known as Big Ed. Been buildin' since I was a kid, but after a long time away, I started buildin' again a few years ago. Some might recognize my Blazer (some might even be sick of seein' it).Almost everything was scratchbuilt................. This Dodge is almost done.Almost everything was scratched also-axles, shocks, frame, suspension................ My Sig. will take you to my P'Bucket albums. Thanks for lookin'.
  19. Het jeryd, good to see ya. Love the truck.
