  1. Very nice, are you planning on going to Cookeville? If so I would love to see this one there.
  2. Chuck,I can say that hands down that is the coolest Hudson engine I have ever seen.I'm no engine expert, but is that even remotely possible? Looks like something that would go into a crazy showcar Hudson.
  3. I bought a bottle of their clear glue and mine takes at least double the time for set up. Mine also didn't hold a good bond,so I switched back to elmers white glue,I use that stuff for so many things.
  4. Cranky's "Ratz, rodz, and rust" is more than any coffee table book you will ever buy.I got one from him at a show and do not regret it one bit, full of tips and a nice showcase at the end. I will be purchasing his new book soon and I expect it to be just as good as the first one. Thanks Cranky for providing us with such a valuable piece of modeling literature as there really isn't much out there.
  5. Very nice. I have a friend who owns a small print shop,Think I need to do something similar.
  6. Very cool!Is it a resin kit?
  7. So your saying I can use a micheals 50% off coupon at hobby lobby?
  8. I have the 90 issue,I built it to go along with AMT's 53 ford PU.It's a decent kit but is very basic. I'm thinking about redoing it.
  9. Very nice,I knew I couldn't have been the only one thinking a forward opening hood would be nice on the 50.
  10. I think the best way to show some of these guys that you are serious about trading is to stick on here for about a month or so and get involved in the community, build up your post count, make some friends, start with simple trades like wheels for wheels or something like that, then once the simple trades are complete polity ask the other trader to post you in the good trader thread.
  11. Just found this, now I'm watch'in. What's your choice for the power plant?
  12. I just got that e-mail the other day from another car guy, I think the guy who built the Merc has other tiny cars he has made.
  13. Cool build. Love the custom made plate, might have to use that for something someday.
  14. This is a breath taker. I can almost hear it cruising down the strip on a Friday night, challenging any whom dare.
  15. Pretty cool,I imagine the safety in a crash with this would be....well none.
  16. That's some decent body work.I love the "wood" on the side, reminds me of so many old wagons.
  17. Glad everything went as planned, hope your recovery is as smooth as the surgery.
  18. In my opinion 72' was is the best year "style" wise for the Torino. It's just a mean car. Very nice build on yours,I would really like for someone to make an entirely new 72 Torino kit to replace the rare and curbside jo-han kits.
  19. The closest club to Clarksville is the Middle TN IPMS http://ipmsmt.wordpress.com/meetings/ It's mainly military guys bet there are a few car guys there,I'm one of them. Cookeville has a great club but it's a bit of a trip for someone in Clarksville.
  20. That first picture looked so realistic I thought you were showing pictures of what your model was inspired by.Amazing job.
  21. Very nice build. This same kit was the third model I built and it is what got me really excited about building model cars. You did a great job with yours,it turned out MUCH better than mine.
  22. I thought I read some wheres that it was based off of the Pantera platform.I have a curbside Pantera,be cool to try and convert it into an AMX 3.Anyone know if they make a resin version of the car.
  23. Been working like crazy for school, had 4 projects and 3 papers due in the last month so progress has been minimal.Just posting to say I'm alive.
