  1. I actually kind of like the decals on the model. Looks a lot better then on the box.
  2. Maybe it has something to do with some people purposely trying to push one another buttons.
  3. Roger the name sounds somewhat familiar, what kind of models does he build and has he had a car featured in a model magazine?I hope you can make it to the show,I'd like to meet you in person.
  4. Updated first post for the new show.
  5. I don't know what it is,but I sure do like it.
  6. Congrats, I have been going to a gym and riding a bicycle fairly often in the last few months and have dropped a few sizes. Hopefully I can continue this till I get into the 140's, that's my goal.
  7. My thoughts and prayers are going out to you. Hope the surgery goes good with a speedy recovery.
  8. I'd like my own one to,a real one. I just wrote a ten page business plan for opening a HobbyTown USA in Nashville for entrepreneurship class.
  9. Can't wait for the test shots, been waiting since this was announced.
  10. As much as I would like one I lack said funds to purchase that kit. You could almost buy a real car for that kinda cash, not a good one,but a car. Now I am looking forward to seeing one of these refinished. Matt once you get yours and finish it I do want to see some pics of it.
  11. Very cool.I have seen a few pictures of cars with these on them but didn't know what they were, there is some pretty cool history behind this.
  12. In Nashville there are none, but right outside of Nashville in a town called Murfreesboro there is a decent HobbyTown USA. https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=hobbytown+usa+murfreesboro&fb=1&gl=us&hq=hobbytown+usa&hnear=0x8863f80e5b170141:0x850cb92ad6b577f6,Murfreesboro,+TN&cid=0,0,338752621363316982&ei=DjMUUfTFLqHi0gHmjoC4CQ&sqi=2&ved=0CIoBEPwSMAA As far as I know Atlanta doesn't have any hobby shops for models, but some wheres outside of Atlanta in a place called Kennesaw there is a HUGE HobbyTown USA. https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=hobbytown+usa+murfreesboro&fb=1&gl=us&hq=hobbytown+usa&hnear=0x8863f80e5b170141:0x850cb92ad6b577f6,Murfreesboro,+TN&cid=0,0,338752621363316982&ei=DjMUUfTFLqHi0gHmjoC4CQ&sqi=2&ved=0CIoBEPwSMAA
  13. I have to agree with you on this one big time.I bought the L-700 from a estate sale and it had no instructions.E-mailed Lindberg and they sent me a PDF and a set in the mail no questions asked. Great service there
  14. I think I had heard someone some wheres talking about the workers protesting at the AMT factory, thus making them have to get the model from another company. Maybe Art Anderson can shed some light on the subject,he knows A LOT about the modeling industry.
  15. WOW those headers are like a work of art! Do you have any shots of them out of the car?
  16. Looking nice so far.Hope to see this one finished.
  17. Got mine yesterday.Great service.
  18. I can respect that, the day I get a javelin Real or model they will have to pry it out of my cold dead hands. If you do start building one, please start a build thread on it.
  19. Hello,my name is Austin and I abandon projects. I like the name Mr. Most gave it, "Project Purgatory"
  20. Wonder why they skipped #002, the parts pack numbers just skip it.
  21. Very nice model. Although I think the real things are ugly I kinda like this one.Great job with all the scratchbuilding. Are the horses HO scale?
  22. What brand of tape are you using? I have cut tamiya and regular blue scotch tape thin like you instructed, but it wrinkles and I'm almost sure paint will bleed through. Your paint work is just gorgeous, hopefully I can get mine half as good as yours.
